The brands I've been buying seem to have been discontinued so I reluctantly tried this one. It seems the same as the others, can't tell any difference. I always use it to make salmon patties for the health benefits of getting the skin and bones more than for the protein content.

first off, i love wild planet but they discontinued their 7oz size cans of the red sockeye, so i went lookin for a replacement. i found this brand which met the criteria i was sea for, red instead of pink (if u know, u know) wild caught, not farmed, & definitely WITH the skin & bones included (there again, if u know, u know, if h dont, go do ur research) ...& seeing as its gettin harder & harder to find good quality red sockeye with skin & bone in, i took a chance on these & was not disappointed. the salmon is as good or better than wild planet, & thats a high praise because im admittedly a wild planet fan boy. so if ur lookin for quality healthy salmon u cant go wrong ...& if the quality changes over my next several orders (& i eat a can a day, so i will be ordering regularly) i will be updating this review. but so far, im impressed. thank u

I absolutely love Redhead Wild Sockeye Salmon No Salt Added, as it is delicious & perfectly fits my nutritional and health needs. Unfortunately, up to 1/3 or even 1/2 of of cans received are significantly dented. Because my Stage 4 Cancer and Chemotherapy make me highly Immune Compromised, my Oncologist forbids me from eating out of dented cans. USDA warns “never use food from badly dented cans” due to possible botulism, and CDC warns “You cannot see, smell, or taste the toxin that causes botulism. Even a small taste can be deadly”. Accordingly, I am forced to throw out the majority of my Redhead Salmon cans. Again, I love Redhead Salmon, but I am a 77 year old military veteran living on fixed income. Can I please return the dented cans for non-dented cans, and can Redhead Salmon shipments please be better packed? Please.

Good product, but still prefer Rubenstein Red Salmon in can.

I love this Alaskan Salmon by Pure Alaska Salmon Co.I've been trying many different brands of salmon this past year and they are by far the best Salmon I've have tried, and now I buy it as my main brand.I don't think I will ever buy any other brand, because there are too many horrible brands out here.Its my first time ordering it online, and I got it in a pack of 12 because it saves me 26$ compared to the price that I pay at my local market store over the course of about a month.They sent the receipt in the box and it says, thank you! hand written, and it actually says a lot to me about the CompanySo far, absolute great company. I had to give it a 5 star review!They shipped USPS, REALLY QUICK TOO.It has the bones still in it, but it's super fresh, barely processed, which some people may not like, but I love that. I want it as fresh as I can get it, and that how it comes.

Have purchased this product for myself and family for years. Product is as advertised, solid pack and only additive is a little salt. Excellent quality and a fair price. Highly recommended.
