Intex26005E Above Ground Swimming Pool Inlet Air Water Jet Part Kit with Plunger Valve, Strainer Connector, Jet Nozzle, Strainer Grid & More

Likes: Products we’re more than what I needed in the box. It’s actually a kit, 2 through the wall inlet pieces, 2 strainer covers for the Inlet pieces, 1 plunger valve ( w/ vertical air bleeder & plastic shut off bleeder cap).There is only ONE knob twisting through the wall plunger valve in the box set, not 2. This is the return like ( filter to pool.)Dislikes:The item(s) pictured in the advertisement for sale are NOT what comes in the box. I was seeking 2 plunger valves ( the knob type shut off) as I saw pictured.Positives:Good quality, 1.5” hoses attach w/ clamps ( I don’t use the threaded Intex hoses that screw on.) I contacted the seller, and despite an obvious language barrier, they agreed to ship me a second plunger w/o the air valve.Negatives:The second kit that arrived ( w/o air release valve) was merely a duplicate of the first kit, which had the air valve. Despite numerous e-mail exchanges back and forth, and a $90 investment for one kit, I got 2 kits and not exactly what I needed. I even gave them Intex part numbers which I looked up myself and they still sent me the wrong stuff.Overall:I can make the kits work for my custom set up, they did make good on sending me extras at no charge and no shipping, arrived quickly, and all pieces function as they should.I feel the language barrier was the main cause of not getting exactly what I was seeking so I’m pleased.The parts are genuine Intex, not knock-offs, and if you need a kit for your pool to replace 2 inlets and 1 return w/ one plunger valve on the return side only, this is the right kit for you.

I ordered two plunger valves with gaskets and nuts, as described and shown in the photo. What arrived was 1 plunger valve with gasket and nuts, the outtake one. The intake valve setup was NOT included. After checking the box item number (#26005E) and photo on their box, I can see that what was shown on the box WAS in the box. The problem is that what they are advertising on amazon is NOT the actual product. So beware, if you return this item, you will receive the same back. Try typing in 'Intex #26005E' and you should see what you'll actually receive.

This bundle includes everything to replace your Intex pool inlet air control valve. It is exactly what you would get with an Intex pool. Everything fit perfectly.

This an update to a previous review. What is listed and photo of item is not what I received. I only got about half of the items. I contacted the company that sells this and told them I didn’t receive what was pictured or described. They said the item was listed incorrectly and offered me half refund of what I paid. I am very appreciative of a company that admits and try’s to fix mistakes.

Ok, all you folks trying to find an Intex threaded strainer attachment for your stock tank pool and, like me, can’t find one anywhere this summer on this planet, this is the solution that the numb nuts at Intex or at Amazon either don’t know about or won’t share on the inter webs: You can convert an inlet jet nozzle attachment into a strainer attachment with what you see in this kit! And it’s really simple. If you got a threaded inlet jet nozzle connector with your pump, you will have to purchase an additional one. Just like the one in this kit. What you have to do is first, take the adjustable pool inlet nozzle off. You’ll see a dark gray (or white) tapered insert inside. Flip the entire attachment upside down so that the threaded nut end is facing up. Set a couple of wooden blocks underneath the threaded end for the jet nozzle cap so that you can tap the tapered insert out with a 1 1/2” dowel and hammer. A couple of light taps on the dowel with a hammer will pop that sleeve out. Now you can use one of the the strainer caps that comes with the two tapered stems (that are completely useless with trying to equip a stock pool). Unscrew the strainer cap that fits the tapered stem and screw that on to the smaller threaded shoulder on the head. Wahlah!

Great replacement for intex! The parts are exactly the same as my original. Everything seems to be working properly.

This product is and does everything it says. Please read the description before you buy because it does not come with everything in the picture - and that's ok. This is why reading is handy ;) I purchased this product to replace my existing outlet connector. It works amazingly and now I have spare parts for a rainy day YAY!
