This book is beyond my expectations. Spanning 25 years, the photographs are exceptional. Many you will recognize as the legendary photos they are, having appeared in print, on film and etched into our memories. There are many intimate photos never seen before that make this collection a must have for any true Prince fan. Ms. St. Nicholas enjoyed a close relationship with Prince and her anecdotes are delightful and bring him back to life. She managed to capture his essence in the photos and this collection is a beautiful tribute to Prince.

I received my book on Tuesday. I had a busy day scheduled. I opened the book to sample a few photographs but made the mistake of reading Randee St. Nicholas' words accompanying the photos. I put the rest of my evening on hold and devoured the poignant stories and anecdotes Randee shared of a twenty-five year collaboration. I learned to appreciate Prince and Randee far beyond the surface images of a photogenic icon and a talented photographer. This book is a journey and revelation. If you admire or even love Prince the artist, get this book and discover Prince the human being. I admired him immensely as a consummate maker of music. Now I realize he was all that and so much more. The little guy was huge in every way. Randee St. Nicholas reveals the intimate without diminishing the mystique!! Brilliant!!!

I ordered this book for a friend for Christmas. She was so excited and was still looking at the pics when I left that day. It has a lot of great pics in it. I enjoyed looking at it with her. I'm glad I got it for her collection.

This is one of the most beautiful books I have ever gotten! Arrived fast . The most Gorgeous pictures so vivid and reach out and touch you !! Lovely just lovely!!!

It’s hard copy, beautifully bound and the pictures are incredible. It’s large 11x13ish and very heavy. It’s meant to be showcased and won’t fit neatly on an average bookcase so have an idea where you plan on displaying it. If you’re a Prince fan it’s a treasured must have. I bought this book used “like new” description. The seller was accurate and shipped it in a strong box. I’m pleased with the purchase. I paid $28 but the prices vary depending on the condition of the book.

I'm a huge Prince fan, and since his passing I've bought pretty much every book about him that I've been able to get my hands on. This is one of the very best. Randee St Nicholas was one of Prince's most prominent photographers, working with him for 25 years, particularly from the "Diamonds and Pearls" era. The book is huge, and alongside the fabulous pictures there's also a lot of text to read, where she tells the story of the shoots, and also various anecdotes about her time with Prince. It's a fascinating, warm, funny read, and the pictures are obviously the stars of the show. Yes, there are a couple of glitches, such as the chronology is a little off once or twice, and the name of one of his band is printed incorrectly at one point, but these are minor issues. An absolutely glorious book, and the best book of Prince photos I've seen so far.
