OranguCoo Clock - CooClock - Monkey

This clock is adorable. My 3 year old loves it. We love it. The monkey is too cute. He is holding a half peeled banana in his hand and sounds like a monkey when he comes out. He comes out houlry, however there is a button on the side you can manually push to make him come out too. Only cautious comment is that the coo coo is loud when he comes out. If you child is timid or nerveous around loud noise it may scare them. If you hang it on the wall leave room to attachthe pendulum. It will make a loud ticking sound it you don't. The sound is also muffled if you choose to us it on a shelf or table top. One great feature is when the lights are out the coo coo will not come out. This feature is wonderful because it will not wake up your child when they are sleeping. This clock is made well and fits perfectly in our daugthers room. Everyone who has seen it loves it. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Worked well for about a month, but now doesn’t work 90%of the time, so when it does go off it is startling.

We purchased the monkey clock, and it really does "hoot" every hour on the hour (when it is light out.) At nighttime, it does not peep at all. We have it hung on the kitchen wall by the mini pendants. When the pendants are off, the monkey does not come out at all if the kitchen is dark. If the lights are dimly lit, the monkey does "hoot" every hour. This is the funniest clock, and it makes us laugh every time it comes out. My 9-yr old daughter picked it out, and at 1st my husband was annoyed, but now we are all used to it. It is a good product and works exactly as described.

Bought it as a gift for my son and it doesnt keep time and monkey doesnt pop out.....waste of money

At first our daughter(2yrs) was terribly frightened of the monkey but she is warming up to it. It does have the tendency to catch you off guard. We placed this clock against a sassy lilac painted wall and it looks very nice! Be careful when setting the hands on the clock. They bend very easily. The light sensor is a nice feature. This is an all around cool kids clock and we feel it was worth the money. She will have it for years to come.

Cute clock but clock face display is not so readable from distance, hence rather difficult to tell the actual time...

Noisy mechanism for cuckoo....almost louder than the cuckoo itself....very cheap-feeling. Woulda been nice if they would have put a little more into the build.

This clock is so funny. My oldest wanted one and she loved that Santa brought her this one. Everyone that sees it has to play it at least a couple of times. Put it in the playroom, it does have a light sensor so if it is dim it will not come on. It goes off every hour if the lighting is right. There is a little black button on the side to turn it on manually. Made of good quality. Was a hit and would recc.
