I liked everything about this kit - from the sturdy case to the contents. Good quality and good performance for what I wanted to use the waxed thread for - sewing netting on a trampoline that had, in a couple of places, come away at the bottom through wear and tear of 3 years regular use. I was able to sew the netting to a ridge of material where the netting had originally been attached. It was quite thick material but I was able to push the curved needle through okay and very pleased with the results. No broken needle. Looks neat and no more holes. The thread was great. Thick and waxed but easy to thread through the eye if the needle. I feel confident the thread won't become thin or rot and very, very happy as I got the outcome I was hoping for - after a week of daily use the trampoline netting remains hole free and looking good. The thread is thick, so be aware of that. I have leather settees and couldn't imagine using the thread in this kit on them as it is thick so do check it's compatible for what you need it for. Although not used for sewing leather on this occasion I was mighty impressed. Not expensive and a good kit to have in my sewing drawer. I'm sure with imagination I will find other uses for it again in the future.

This leather repair/sewing set looking really comprehensive. In a handy plastic container, an adequate range of thread and needles. Haven't used yet, but looks ideal for what I want and at a good price

Good quality thread and needles the awl was poorly ground and was blunt out of the box. Very useful transparent box.
