Now House by Jonathan Adler Grid Frame, 4" x 6", Black and White

Heavy, well-made, classy. It made a great gift. I only wish it came in a great gift box, like Kate spade frames do. Small quibble.

This Now House by Jonathan Adler Grid Frame is made of heavy duty ceramic and apparently meant to frame a long-lasting memory. The black and white classic grid pattern is very low key and does not steal the spotlight of the picture. One disappointment is the packaging. If you buy this as a gift for someone, be prepared to spend time and talent do your own gift wrapping. I recommend it!

The Jonathan Adler Now House blue and white grid frame is a great looking picture frame that’s modern and stylish. I wanted a contemporary, high quality frame with a pop of color for a special 8”x10” photo of my son, and this frame is simply perfect. The medium shade of blue is colorful but not too bright, and the blue and white grid pattern compliments my decor well as I have some geometric art with blue accents. The frame looks fabulous hanging on my home office wall and makes me happy. It was handcrafted in China out of heavy ceramic and has no flaws. This frame is large at about 11”x13” and made of quality materials. The backing is attractive with black velvet type material and gold hardware for hanging the frame vertically or horizontally, plus a flip out stand that supports the weight of the frame well when displayed on a piece of furniture. Love it. 5 stars.

This is a beautiful frame and everything about it is high end. It is quite heavy and the construction is superb. One of the suggestions is that this would make a great wedding gift and I fully agree: with one caveat. This comes packaged in the ugliest rice-paper cardboard box with flaking styrofoam protection. Based on the packaging, you'd think this was a $3 frame. But once you take it out of the packaging you have no doubt that this is a high-end product that will impress. My suggestion is that if you give this as a gift, ship it to your house, discard the packaging and put it in a nice gift box or bag. A few other notes: I like that they sell this style in multiple sizes so you could make a set out of these. The back of this frame is finished which makes placement much easier. Even if you put it somewhere where the back is visible, the black velvet backing will just kind of disappear. Even though it has a shiny finish, it does not show fingerprints on the border. Very nice

Ok, so for a designer frame, this just looks cheap and definitely the quality you would expect from the dollar store, not an expensive designer. The printed grid is off and just looks like poor quality. really dissapointed in this frame.

This is a ceramic frame and quite heavy. It is well constructed but there are slight imperfections in the ceramic, but they do not detract from the overall appearance. You can have the frame in the portrait or landscape position and hang it in either. I deduct 1 star because it is heavy. It is nice looking. It is a designer frame and the price reflects that.

This is a ceramic photo frame, but with a gloss that makes it look really nice -- I keep thinking it's glass until I get up close. It's a graphic design in a color that truly pops -- so it's best for a fairly simple photo, otherwise it will detract from the image. I've had it around for a few years now, intending to use it for a last minute gift when I needed one, but I've decided I want to keep it for myself. I simply love Jonathan Adler's designs.
