I was so glad to see that SmallRig is using paper wrapping instead of plastic zip-lock bags. This is a first in all the Chinese gear I have purchased over the last 10 years. Previously many items have come in plastic bags within bags, with extra parts in other bags. SmallRig gets two thumbs up!! I will chose them over other suppliers for similar items. As a side note Sony has pretty much switch over to paper and cardboard for all the cameras and other items I have purchased over the last 5 years. I love there origami box designs that are often made out of one piece or cardboard, die cut and folded into a sturdy shock absorbing package that is easily recyclable and generates no plastic pollution.

Smallrig is an awesome value - using this piece to offset my monitor on my FS5. It's sturdy and does what you need it to.

High Quality machined aluminum clamp. The knob is also high quality aluminum. The threads are clean cut and smooth. The 1/4" thread has an internal hex so you can remove it or move it if need be. I will be buying from this brand again.

Very handy. Does what it's supposed to do: secure an item with a 1/4-20" female adapted to a 15mm support rod.

The 15mm rod inserts perfectly into the Rod clamp. But note that the adjustment lever that winds to tighten the rod is very near the camera’s firing button and I maximized the distance from the cage’s adapter nato support mount part 1549. This is due to the screw to mount accessories is facing upwards thus the screw lever faces down which might obstruct camera controls. Alternatively is to add another item part 2069 Smallrig 90 degree clamp then reconfiguring and raising it higher adding to the total cost. This seems the only feasible option or worse to attach another handle which I find increases the weight.
