Antonio Puig Quorum by Eau de Toilette for Men, 100ml

I just got this 'Quorum' and have to comment on it. I'm having fun with this cologne stuff. I'm a never use a scent kind of guy except Lilac splash or Old Spice a couple times per year. But, i've gone crazy getting the below 'fumes' through Amazon.com in a short period of time and i play with them like i would essential oil aromatherapy just squirting myself with them throughout the day. Thank, goodness i haven't gone near people for awhile because they might run away.I like all the fumes below especially 'Dolce Cabanna The One' and 'Unforgivable' and 'Versage Eros' and 'Nautice'...but, come to think of it i like them all EXCEPT THIS ONE. So, why do i give it 5 stars? I'm asking myself that. Sprayed this on and smelled it at it nailed me to the wall and i thought 'yuk how gross and offensive'. One of these guys who put in answers said a 'smokey soapy' smell. I laugh because that's a great description yet doesn't cut it. I've been consulting 'Jeremy Fragrance' on YouTube and that guy is a delight and expert at presenting fragrances so informative and fun to watch and i'm not associated with him in any way. I've Google perfumes, read stuff in here and consulted his site among other things. And, i've consulted after buying. E.G. I got Yves Saint Laurent Nuit De L'homme' before consulting that site and found it to be at the very top of the list and i agree.Ok, Quorum. This is potent stuff and i'm sure will be on my skin smellable for over 8 hours. When i first smelled it i knew i've smelled this scent somewhere before. I washed my skin and i've resprayed my entire arm. I'm going to just keep re-smelling it. I have smelled this many times in my life but not as a perfume but some other place. Maybe burning brakes or a mechanics garage. Or mold under the house. Or dried urine in a nursing home. I just can't make the connection. Why a 5 star. Jeremy fragrance guy gave a great presentation about a certain perfume he demonstrated 'DO NOT SMELL THIS UP CLOSE...DON'T LET A LADY SMELL THIS UP CLOSE...THIS PERFUME MUST BE ENGAGED IN AT A DISTANCE NOT UP CLOSE...IT STINKS UP CLOSE'. He wasn't talking about Quorum but some other very expensive 'fume'. I think that's the case with Quorum. When i put my nose to my arm (and i have excessively applied i admit) and sniff up close i get this strong over bearing one of a kind scent unlike any cologne, drastically, radically different than any cologne and i'm taken back by it almost offensive odor. BUT, WHEN MY ARM IS A WAYS FROM MY FACE I GET A WHIFF EVERY NOW AND THEN THAT IS 'DRAWING ME'. I WON'T SAY ATTRACTING OR SEDUCTIVE BUT CERTAINLY INTRIGUING AND SOMETHING WORTH INVESTIGATING AND , MORE FOR MICRO SECONDS, AN AWESOMELY SEDUCTIVE, MANLY, SEXY SMELL. And, i'm betting, as time goes on, as the fume goes into the skin, this stuff is going to be way pleasant. I do know it's lasting power is going to be a long long time. I'm guessing 24 hours. So, for starters , DO NOT SPRAY BUT A TINY BIT ON. I know it will draw someone to me but i'm thinking it may repel them on close range but i could be wrong. Of course, perfumes and colognes smell differently on different people and everyone has different tastes but there are universal ranges and this stuff is ABSOLUTELY ONE OF A KIND WAY DIFFERENT THAN ANY OTHER AND I IMAGINE YOU WILL LOVE IT OR HATE IT. This does not last like the original. I find its authenticity to be suspect.

like the spray feature.

Great barbershop type of cologne pine and lavender tone that gives it real clean smell to begin with.it dries down to leather and wood, strong manly stuff. Reminds me of azarro pour homme ,which everyone refers to be one the best daytime colognes ever. This one comes very close to APH in my opinion.That beeing said, this one is for the 35+ men and I get the feeling 40+yr women really likes it . The younger might think it is a bit old fashioned/barbershop.If you apply moderately, it is perfect for the office. Perhaps on the Fridays, one extra splash is ok. It will definately make you dominate and the women around you to turn their heads .To me it is clearly a daytime fragrance for winter or fall.For nightclub you may want something with with more sweet character.Perhaps layer it with some musk or sweeter tobacco.I give it four stars because it does not have as much body as for example APH has. But any case for the price of around 20 dollar it is a true bargain.

it smells like a grandpa

I have always used Quorum myself because I like it's smell (So do the ladies!! -{8-D) I always give a bottle to my son for Christmas or his Birthday also because he likes it also. So it was his Birthday this time and I bought two bottles, one for each of us. As a frugal shopper, I always shop the 'net first of all. Amazon ALWAYS has the best prices on almost everything, so I came here first, and ended up purchasing from Amazon because, not only did they have the best price on the Quorum, if I purchased another item, a USB Hub that I needed also, (the price on the hub was excellent also)... by purchasing all three items at the same time, at Amazon, I qualified for FREE SHIPPING on the total purchase. That clinched the deal for me! As any intelligent shopper knows, the added cost of shipping can make... OR BREAK a deal! This time, after all the figuring was said and done, with FREE SHIPPING, the total price ended up less than the Quorum + shipping! So I got the hub for FREE! (with FREE SHIPPING also!) Whenever I am shopping for something, Amazon has always 'done me right', so I will continue to use Amazon as my 'retailer of choice'! ~ Besides.. My dad gave me this Cologne as a gift many years ago. I was younger then and never really appreciated. Now, however, it is my favorite (I'm also fond of Hugo Boss and 4711). It is an exceptional "manly" cologne; somewhat smokey and hints of sandalwood permeate. It is not overpowering - unless you don't know the meaning subdued and douse yourself as you would in a shower with it - and best of all - it is not sickly sweet as too many of today's mens' eau de toilettes are. This goes well with a well tailored single breasted charcoal suit, a pressed white shirt, dark silk tie, vodka martini, and a medium rare Filet Mignon at your favorite steak house. It will also impress the charming woman in the black cocktail dress whom you've just helped out of your convertible as she takes a whiff of what a confident man wears to a power meeting or an intimate night on the town. I intend to give my son a bottle of Quorum when he gets older as my father did; it's that special to me and what it conveys to others.

Classic smell had this when I was a kid still have it now and I'm 50 along with kouros, you only need a,little bit it does last along time scent wise will buy again.

Very reasonably priced after shave. This is husband's favourite after shave but is not available to buy in shops now so very pleased to have found it on Amazon.

As l love perfume, l bought Quorum as l used it before. It smells really nice
