Broadfix BFXBSP120 Shims

Good product. Nearly all burr free. A good quantity for a large deck project. Some doubling up towards the end. I don't do much DIY that involves shims so was happy to have a bag that gets used up as opposed to having loads left over sitting in the garage for years. Screwfix sell bags but in huge quantities.

Very useful. I've used them in various situations. Strong but easy to cut. - AS well as temporary use, I've used a couple as permanent spacers, eg. when a blind was delivered slightly too small, I cut the white 3mm and used it between blind fixing and wall and it doesn't notice at all.

One of those things, once you have them to hand, you find more uses for them than the job you initially bought them for

Perfect!! I've recently put up a new shed, and it needed trueing-up. These shims were ideal for slotting underneath by trial-and-error until the shed was 'square'. It was useful to have a selection of sizes in the bag, and they also stack together well.

Needed as packaging pieces work fairly well. but some are curved

This is my 2nd pack. Didn’t know there were so many uses. Always good to have a pack in the garage.
