Great party trick or great for scaring annoying children

I read some reviews where people actually complained “not wound up” and more asinine complaints.You (the buyer) have to twist the rubber band which is attached to a washer, attached to a small wire like brace. EZ P Z to do this, then insert the wound up gag back into the small envelope.I pranked my wife, a grandson and an old vet like me and HOLY COW did they jump. I laughed 11 times straight so 9+1+1 equals how many times I laughed. Very funny prank indeed.

With the proper setup, talking about how sometimes rattlesnake eggs can hatch if not properly cooled, this gag will make your victim jump straight out of their pants. I made a video, and after viewing the video maybe 30 times, we still both get a huge laugh.I think I first saw this maybe 45 years ago, and it's still great.

The photo of the rattlesnake on the front of the envelope is of poor quality,as is the envelope itself. Do not recommend it for kids under nine. It was too difficult for My 5&7 yr old niece and nephew to manipulate the washer and rubber band, once twisted, back into the envelope without it going “off”

I got these to joke with my fifth grade students and ended up scaring myself a few times. We had the best time with these right before school got out!!

I think the washer needs to be bigger. It's hard to set without setting it off. And goes off too early.

This item has been around for decades, and it still gives everyone a good startling scare, and then a hearty laugh. Especially good for 9-13 year old that loves natural science. How caterpillars become butterflies... that sort of thing. They will be excited and fall for this little gag. Anyway, I think you'll feel you got more than you paid for, in the long run.

I was very excited to find this product on Amazon. During my last trip to Montana, I stopped at the usual gift store and sadly they had a "made in China" product that did NOT carry the same punch as these beauties. When one needs a good laugh, grab a set of these "rattlesnake eggs" and see how many people will fall for the trick. The presentation is important, so que it up well people.
