A hosepipe is an odd thing to review! For my needs - car washing and watering the garden it's awesome. The brass fittings are good quality and the pipe itself is happy living outside on the included bracket. Initially it was a bit of a faff to fix to the outside tap but that was down to unclear instructions which appeared to be for a different hose. However it was just a matter of trial and error with the fittings to find the right one. The braided fabric of the exterior of the hose is the only let down. It frays quite easily if you snag it on concrete paths or bushes - nothing serios just odd bits of threads stick out. It does say not to drag the pipe around but in use it's all too easy to forget. The head accessories are really good and I've used all the settings now. The pipe doesn't leak at any part which is really impressive for me - first ever pipe that is dry everywhere except the business end. It has a little trigger thingie that you can flick up so water still comes out without you having to squeeze the trigger constantly - useful!I have seen comments complaining about using this with a pressure washer: this hosepipe is *latex* - if you put more pressure through it than your house mains pressure *of course* it will split! Right tools for the right job. Oh and it does indeed expand and then contract every time you turn the tap on and off - very impressed with this product !

Bought this hose in 2019 and it still as good as new after buying cheapers ones that sprang leaks after only a few months use. It easily extends the length of our back garden and reaches along the side of the house to water the front garden and clean the car. VERY satisfied and the seller even sent us a follow up e-mail after we bought it to make sure we were happy.

Definitely a good buy, a lot better then other cheaper expandable hoses with the plastic fittings. These are decent quality brass fittings; so good for a fair number of years I would hope. Used the hose several times before reviewing, and so far very pleased, no reason to think that the hose will not last.I would recommend though that these hoses are not left for long periods with water under pressure in them, just turn the tap off and release the trigger to relieve the pressure, and don't leave it out in the sun for long periods, it doesn't do hoses any good or anything else for that matter!

This is the second expanding hose that I have bought - from different suppliers. And like the last one this is no longer functioning. And it is not possible to replace parts.

Although very flexible, quite heavy to manoeuvre when filled with water, you have to really tug on it to get it to any stretchable length. Leaks at tap point but that may be the tap rather than the hose! The variety of sprays and the spray gun are brilliant.

Great expanding garden hose. Very good quality. I do really like that it has metal fittings and connections. It is very lightweight. I definitely recommend this great quality hose!

My wife wanted a much lighter hose than our existing plastic ones. This fits the bill perfectly and at 100 ft extended it reaches the end of the rear garden and round the house to the front garden with ease.
