Study Guide with Solutions Manual for McMurry's Fundamentals of Organic Chemistry, 7th

As an Organic Chemistry student who wants to do well, our class uses the John McMurry 8th Edition book, and I also purchased an older version of William H. Brown book, but this thinner blue cover "Organic Chemistry" book by McMurry is great because it fits into a large purse or can sit on the stairmaster or elliptical machine without falling off. The other books are 1200 pages, and are not very portable. This is great as a supplemental book if you want to study on the road or at the gym etc. Great addition as a thin light option.

The book came and it’s in good condition. It came late for some reason. Excellent resource!

This book is great for a one semester student who wants to get a few basics, but if you want more, pass this book up and buy the hybrid edition by the same author. The material in the hybrid book is nearly exactly the same but with more depth. I really wanted more mechanisms and explanations from the book.

It's a solutions manual... nothing fancy and some of the answers are hard to see where they got them at but it works and is a great study tool. I used it alot for test studying. I couldn't go through an ochem class without the solutions

Some sticky notes and writing but overall not in bad condition. A little worn

I like the way this book is set up. This makes it easy when you are dealing with a subject matter you may not like that much.

Great for the price. Saved me from spending a lot of money on a bookstore book.

The book contains everything you would expect of this edition, albeit some of the page numbers are slightly different to the standard version. Unfortunately due to my course not requiring this book anymore, it allows me to confirm it makes a good door stop.

I struggle with organic chemistry and this book is so easy to read and understand. Would definitely recommend! Buy it!

Excellent book if you want to learn the "dry side" of organic chemistry. But dont forget the lab-work. Book learning alone of chemistry has very little meaning..
