Great service, package arrived early. Just started reading this book and enjoying it thus far.

I found this book in an obscure library in 1980, five years after its publication in the US. I actually played the Game (it has its own gameboard included) and was astounded by the game's results at that time. I have looked for it ever since, as it had been a library book. Now at last I have found it for purchase. This Game is the origin of the children;s games of Snakes and Arrows, or Ladders, or Chutes and Ladders....It was amazingly accurate in how it played out...almost scary. But I will play it again after all these years. It is that fascinating. Play with seriousness and a lack of fear, even if it proves to be accurate. There is a Reason why this Game has fascinated so many over so many hundreds of years. It is fascinating and worth the little money spent for what is given in this book.

I own the board game and got this as a gift for a friend. I was originally looking for the board game, but seeing as that is out of print, this was the next best option. It does come with a fold up board game, but it isn't quite the same. But what it did do was inspire I and my friend to make our own boards. It is all a part of the soul growth that comes from experiencing this game. Be prepared for your life to change....

I ordered this book thinking it comes with board and dice. 🎲 dice and stones are not included so you need to purchase it separately.So basically that a book with rules of the game.

The fact that Chutes and Ladders comes from this game is a hoot. I've enjoyed using it like the I Ching and discovering patterns in my spirit path.You don't have to be way into HIndu terminology to use the book and gain some insights...but it helps. Yoga folks might find this an interestinggame to play with friends.

I think it is one of the finest books written on this subject. No matter how many times I play this game, it's never wrong. It consistently gives me insight into my active subconscious, allowing me to recognize harmful patterns in my thoughts and actions, and providing me with the tools to facilitate change when necessary. Who needs therapy? Play this every day.
