Didn't fix issue.
The real issue is the "FUSED" power-plug. These don't need a fuse BUT to get repair orders a too weak fuse is installed just to fail so users will replace parts or the whole light!! Just replace the plug with a basic cheap Automotive one LOL!!

spotlight bulb replacement, and was very easy to install

Works like a charm!
The hardest part was figuring out how to take the light apart to install it, but even that was pretty easy... 5 screws and plug the new one in.

Problem fixed!
Opened up an old rechargeable spotlight with a dead battery, gutted it and put a cigarette cord on it, tried it out and poof. Forgot that it was only a six volt bulb. Duh! New bulb and a spotlight was saved from the land fill.

Deceitful
I ordered this bulb mainly because of the picture matched the bulb exactly that I need to replace. When the bulbs arrived, I was shocked that it was only the bulb and not as it was pictured. The bulb is factory soldiered as a unit and receiving just the bulb is not a fit. If the seller just wanted to sell a bulb, the picture should just be a bulb. The unit shouldn't be advertised if it's not sold as a unit. VERY UPSET buyer!!!

Light quality
Bulb came quickly. Light does not seem to be as bright as orginal buld even though it is a direct replacement.
