These are a bit pricey to me, but they have proven very useful. I use Arca Swiss plates and clamps on my cameras and tripods. I connect a female end to the bottom of my cameras (see image) and put male ends on my tripods, my camera harness, & etc. I use a wrist cord instead of a neck strap, so this lets me dangle the camera from the harness or whatever when I need my hands free, and also ensures I don't need to fret over a tripod clamp coming loose and the camera sliding off. I know it looks clunky, but it's saved more than one camera from hitting the ground. I've never had one pull apart the was properly inserted. Note: I use the short ends on the cameras and harnesses; I use the long version ends on the tripods.

I am one of those people that generally won't waste my time writing a bad review. Therefore, my only reviews are typically four starts or better. Well with this product, it is one that once I got this I asked myself what took me so long to get this. I lug my camera around with me quite often. Sometime I will have several pounds around my next for hours and not take any pictures. just do not want to miss that special shot. I have tried a few camera strap systems as my neck and shoulder get sore sometimes and I knew there had to be some product that really would make this problem go away. The Op/Tech system, not just these uni-loop, is an outstanding product that really works. It is versatile, with easy adjustment, and quick to change out. The lock system is sure and secure. The web strap material is strong and well seated in the end clips. I also got Op/Tech Pro Strap and Wrist Strap. They both are extremely comfortable and secure. I change them out regularly during an outing and now remove my strap when I place my camera on a tripod. (Before I would tight it down in wind conditions) If possible, this is one of those products that I would give a 6 star as I do not get sore carrying all day and I can make changes to a wrist strap in seconds. Wish I had found this product years ago rather than spending so many hours being uncomfortable and so many hours seeking out a product that would offer the versatility. I am thankful that I did fine this.

Great item for great harnesses

If you ever want to use a neck strap, wrist strap, or tripod and want to be able to quickly remove the straps or interchange them, then these Uni-loop clips are a huge help. Securely made to "snap" together, I can quickly remove the neck strap when I want to go the tripod, and not have the neck strap hanging around my setup. Same for going to the wrist strap. Unsnap one out, snap the other in. These Uni-Loops are very short so they are out of the way when not being used. They wrap into the metal strap eyes on the camera body. These match Op/Tech straps and slings, as well as many other makes of straps. Great product. I love the security that I know they provide while convenience of quick change-outs.

I bought these to use in conjunction with the OP/TECH USA 1001062 Super Classic strap. The Op/Tech system allows you to use one strap with many devices. The build quality is excellent. The material the connectors are made of is not so brittle as to break easily, but also not so flexible that you might accidentally release the connector. The loop material is strong enough to support a DSLR or Film SLR even with a heavy lens. I also use the Uni-Loop connectors with the Opteka Professional Wrist Grip Strap. The only caveat I have about this product is the difficulty of installation. Because the loop material is so thick, it was extremely difficult to thread the loop thru the metal strap mounts on my Sony DSLRs. If I hadn't been willing to make the slot in the mount slightly wider by twisting a large Flat-bladed screwdriver inside the slot, I would have NEVER been able to thread the loop thru. I even used op/tech's recommended tip of pulling the loop thru using a thin wire threaded thru the loop. I still would not have been able to get the loop thru the camera strap mount with out widening the slot. If it hadn't been for this, I would have given this product 5 stars. But, having said all that, I think that making the loop material thinner to ease installation would compromise the strength of the whole Op/Tech system. So just be aware that you might have to be willing to modify your Camera's strap mounts to use this product!

I bought a Black Rapid shoulder harness for hiking with the camera(s), which I love. I realized, however that using the harness system is great for dedicated photography jaunts, but sometimes you just want to pick up the camera and go. So I bought the Op-tech strap and these extra short straps for a second camera body. These short straps stay on the camera at all times, snapped together. They fit snugly and out of the way across the top or pushed slightly forward or back. When I want to use the standard over-the-neck-strap from Op-tech, I just snap it on these straps and go. The Op-tech straps are inexpensive, well made and nicely cushioned. Now I can have it either way - strap or harness.

As a professional photographer, I have way too many cameras. All of them have these same connectors which allows me to mix and match depending on what I am carrying on that particular assignment. They are a little fiddly to attach the first time, but after that they stay and have never let me down.

I like the fastener but the video shows a flat webbing that is long enough to easily push the plug back thru the loop after it is fastened to camera. The one I received had a very short tubular webbing that was very difficult to push thru the metal device on my camera and after I got it thur the loop was too small to get the plug thru the loop. OP/Tech does not do a good job of labeling their parts with a part number so it is difficult to reorder or even compare items.

Je ne m'en passe plus pour attacher mes jumelles au sac à dos. Le modèle XL est suffisamment long pour porter les jumelles jusqu'aux yeux :) Et en plus c'est solide !

Walk around without having to hold a camera or binoculars. Switch cameras in a instant. Very little weight on the neck as it is distributed over the shoulders. Very functional.
