I had broken a couple of the stainless steel clips, so when I saw this titanium clip, I thought it would be more durable. I'm very disappointed. It has the strength of a twist tie from a loaf of bread. It bent the fist time I sat down in my vehicle. I'm sending it back and getting another stainless steel clip.

I have had this clip for a week and it has already broken. It got caught on the fabric of a chair and when I stood up it snapped clean in two. I have had other pocket clips get caught on things but they just bend. That is the difference between some regular carbon steel or just some crappy pot metal. These clips are made out of some crappy pot metal.

If this is titanium then I'm the queen of France.Update:Broke at the over-90° bend less than a month later. Should have sent it back after opening it. Demoted from 3 to 1 star

I tried this out after going through several factory steel clips on my charge that I daily carry. The titanium (or whatever metal this really is) seems to be a huge improvement over the steel that the factory clips are made of.I can tell this material has a much better flexibility while still remaining incredibly strong. I’ve snagged it a few times, and what would have broken the leatherman clips instantly, this one took like a champDo note, the groove in it seems to not perfectly line up with the file groove on my Charge Ti, but it’s not at all an inconvenience so I didn’t subtract any stars. Though I’ve just had it for 3-4 months now, I expect this clip to last MUCH longer than the Leatherman branded one. If anything changes I’ll be sure to update my review

This Clip is too flimsy to support a heavy tool like my Wave. It doesn’t do the job.It is much thinner and much less springy than the Leatherman clip. Every time I sit down, the clip flexes, loosens it grip, and allows the tool to slide out of my pocket. Even when standing, the clip won’t anchor the tool. The Wave is easily pushed sideways, sliding up my pocket, then “flopping” loose. I have adjusted the clip—but the problem is the lack of stiffness. It has no grip.The OEM clip may break once a year, but, at least, it functions as a clip.

I hate having my leatherman in a sheath. This is the way they should be built from the start. Handy dandy pocket clip or lanyard. No more heavy clunky leatherman digging hold in my pocket. It rides so comfortable I often think I have forgotten my leatherman. Great product.

This product is not worth buying. The clip broke in the bend after only a few days. The material is too thin and not durable enough for it's application. I did a return and got another one in hopes that it may have been a one off but the 2nd clip failed in the same spot. I am disappointed because I was really wanting to like this product and held off on my review until I received the second clip. I have since purchased a Leatherman Skeleton that has a built in clip and I'm loving it.

the laser etching looks pretty good, and it is holding up for now. it's no different in construction from any of the other clips though, same 1/32" bent sheet s/s metal.
