Solid machine, recommend purchasing
Good quality machine. Pulleys work well and weight stack is ample. Putting it together is challenging. The main issue is that they give you one huge bag with every screw, bolt, nut and washer in it. So, you have to measure each and every one to figure out which bolt goes where. I found that very challenging. A simple fix would be for the manufacturer to put the hardware in separate bags so they could be easily identified. It took about three and a half hours to put together by one person. Once together, though, it is a solid machine for the price.

My husband likes it.
The weight machine arrived in several very heavy packages (the boxes with weights were unbelievably heavy). My husband and I thought about putting it together ourselves, but when we saw the million pieces (I'm only slightly exaggerating), we hired two guys to put it together for us. It took them 8 hours (they work in construction and remodeling, so they are very accustomed to reading instructions and putting things together). The only drawback that I have regarding the finished product is that it wobbles (my husband says that our unfinished basement floor is uneven; perhaps that is the case). My husband uses it every day and really likes it. His only concern is that it's not made for tall people (he is 6 feet 6 inches). He's not able to take full advantage of the leg weights because of his height, but he likes the upper body workout. I haven't used it much, but the few times that I have, I thought it was worth the money (just wish the floor was even). It is an impressive looking machine that serves its purpose.

I approve
Finally got it put together, lol, a year later. I love the machine, especially for the price. The chest area is a bit tight but adjusting the handles takes care of that. Hopefully after a lot of usage that won't be an issue. The directions were very detailed but informative. I recommend the machine.

Works Great When Assembled
Was looking for a very affordable small home gym and the BFMG10 fits all the requirements. The instruction on the other hand, well, are impossible.If you get this unit be prepared to spend many hours assembling it. I took 3 evenings, 1 hour each night, to assemble the unit, mainly because working on it for more than an hour taxed my patients too much. The assembly instructions do not include a size diagram for the bolts, so lay them out and count them before starting. The instructions also have the wording on one side of the page and you have to flip the page to see the correct diagram. They skipped the instructions on some parts including mounting the seat.As suggested by other owners, search online for the BFMG20 instructions and use those (first link on Google).Once assembled, the unit performs wonderfully, and for the price it can't be beat.

Nice but issues
I was so excited to purchase this item. Not so excited with the many many many pieces required putting together. Instruction stated 1 hour assemble (for professionals)--took 3 hours the first day, brain dead trying to figure out the pulleys/cables. Instructions leave a lot to be desired, in addition to missing a few screws/bolts and the 2 Steel Pivot Collar. Would better to have a picture of every PART.Once the unit was completely assembled, the functionality is great with one exception the hand bars. the hand bars do not fit correctly, after 20 minutes of trying different levels (3 different holes), positions (installing out side, and put on slant), removed them!Biggest recommendation---keep a picture of the Gym full assemble (from on line) at hand.

It's nice but I would get a bowflex
If I could go back and do it all again I'd probably get a bowflex. This is a nice machine but it takes FOREVER to set up and if you like to lift a lot of weight the pully chords WILL wear down pretty quickly mine haven't broken yet after a year of ownership but they've frayed and the metal chord under the rubber cover is exposed and breaking apart.

Excellent Quality Product for the Price
I read the reviews and decided to purchase this Unit. I had already purchased the BF Adjustable Bench and was pleased with the quality of it. I purchased this discontinued model because it was available with free shipping. It arrived on a pallet in 4 boxes. It did take me 4 hours and 12 minutes to assemble. No parts were missing or damaged. The directions were adequate for assembly. The trick is to inventory and organize your bolts so you use the correct bolts at the appropriate steps. Double checking the bolts every time is where you really get slowed down on the assembly process. The machine is sturdy and solid, and the materials are excellent aircraft grade quality. This is the perfect machine for anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money on a small home gym. Sure there is better (and worse) stuff out there for a lot more money. This is an excellent product at an excellent price.

Extra effort will pay off
This purchase was not as easy as most but ultimately I was satisfied. Normally when I buy on line I receive a series of emails updating delivery status. One email arrived form Amazon showing the order but Fitness Factory didn't contact me. Almost two weeks went by and no word. I contacted Amazon and they told me to email Fitness Factory. They replied that the order had not been processed and shipped it the next day. I recommend following up early and often.Like the other reviewers I wish the assembly instructions were improved. I found that spreading the fasteners out and identifying them by size and count helped make up for not having full scale images of the numbered items. Referring to all the diagrams at each step of the process also helped. In the end, I took my time and finished in about 4 hours.The one complaint I have beyond a lack of operation instructions is the weight bars. They each weigh 15 pounds which makes the increments too large for most exercises. I found that hand weights can be attached to the bottom of the cable just above the weight bars to allow better adjustment.
