My mare likes to surprise me with various cuts from turn out. I’ve used this product for years on the most difficult to heal wounds when other products have failed. Her most recent jugular cut was not able to be stitched by the vet as the skin tissue had already hardened, so I followed his advice with aluminum spray & lots of swat around it, but it stayed wet & wasn’t healing after a week of care. Within 2 days of applying Underwood, it was drastically better. A week or so later, it was practically healed! I also bought a barbers puffer to puff the baking powder on which was much easier than any other applicators I’ve tried. I will always have this on hand as it is a miracle in my book.

Works like a miracle heals large and small wounds in a matter of days. Works on all warm blooded creatures. Vets don't like it because it costs them business. Don't use on deep wounds that need stiches . although it helps stiches heal faster with minimal to zero scaring . Heals scrapes , shallow cuts, large and small skin tears, lanced abscesses etc . I shouldn't say this because the bottle says not for use on humans but it works great on anything with broken skin. I accidentally got some on a cut arm and it healed quickly without scaring. I used it on a friends dying great Pyrenees dicubitus wounds they were large but the healed in less than a week. (My friend was not ready to let him go yet ) .It smells good, however, it is dark and sticky it but cleans up easily. Washes out of clothes and off walls without staining. I would not be without this product as long as i have any kind of animal.

Most amazing stuff I ever used for deep cuts on my horses. Do not wash off, just keep putting it on with the baking powder. Vet said 6 months but my horse healed in a month. Miracle stuff

This liquid solution does work. However, it’s a mess to deal with. I am using it on the white stockings of my palomino and it has turned the hair completely dark brown and it does NOT come off. I have hosed and shampooed the legs multiple times to get the solution off the hair but it will have to wear off. It must burn a little too because the horse hates getting it sprayed on. I won’t buy it again.

Amazing product. Works great. Healed cut on horse quickly and without any discomfort to the horse. I definitely recommend keeping it on hand.
