For the price, this starter set cannot be beat!
For the price, this starter set cannot be beat! Hit a hole-in-one with my nine iron from this set so for me these brought good luck. Although heavier than I have come to appreciate, these were a good started set and held up really well. For the price, this is an awesome deal for those just starting out.

Great set for the cost!
4/17/2018 Update: Guys, I bought these golf clubs in 2014 and I can attest to their value. I still have them and they all work just fine. I was perusing my purchase history and thought I'd update since I took these out to teach my nephew how to play. Since then, I've purchased a new set of Callaway X2s but I still have these clubs as my back up set and they work just great. I see a lot of reviews of people breaking golf clubs from this set and I'd like to say that first off Callaway's customer service is EXCELLENT. I've called them about a recent set I purchased and they sent me a brand new set right away. Second... If you are breaking golf clubs chances are you need lessons. I've literally never seen anyone break a shaft or head. With budget sets, I'm sure this could happen but I'd wager that if you're breaking clubs you're hitting the ground, you're coming over the top of your shoulder, and you most likely have a nasty slice. All these faults cause you to have a downward strike and you probably also chunk a lot. Look I'm not a pro golfer, but I've shot in the high 70s a few times and average in the mid to high 80s. These were a fantastic starter set. New clubs don't make you a good golfer, practice does. I can still take my old man's set from the 70s and crush his woods.. and they're made out of wood. Its technique.Just got this in the mail today and went straight to the range. Great set for the price and was a major upgrade for me as my last set was extremely old. The irons were fantastic and very forgiving. The hybrids were also fantastic once I got the hang of them. I'll probably upgrade the driver soon, but I like it better than my taylormade burner superfast 2.0. I also have a pretty nice putter from my last set and I like the strata putter better. Overall great set for the price, I'm very happy with the purchase.Just an update on my purchase:I've had this set for a few years now and none of the clubs have broken. I have a buddy that has the brand new Callaway X2 set, but I still shoot competitively. It's not the clubs folks, its your technique. I'll say that could I probably get a few extra yards if I buy a new set of top of the line clubs? Sure. Is it worth it? Probably not. I've been consistently shooting in the high 80s and low 90s for a couple of years now. I love these clubs.I replaced the driver with the Nike Covert 2.0 Tour edition and I added a 60 degree log wedge, but apart from that the set is awesome! Definitely would recommend these for someone that's just starting all the way to an advanced player. If you're a seasoned veteran, you'll probably be looking for the more high end lines.

Great set for beginners!
I purchased this as my first set after playing in a golf tournament with my buddies clubs. I honestly didn't think I would stick with the game, but a few years later, I have completely replaced this set with all new equipment and I'm addicted. I did extensive research prior to this purchase. I wanted quality without dropping huge money, just incase I didn't stick with it. I would highly recommend this set to anyone starting out, but I want to review each part of the set, since every piece is so different. I bought this at age 23 and I am 6' 1". The lengths of all clubs worked for me.Warranty; I honestly wouldn't bother with the warranty. I got the 3 year option and I didn't even use the clubs for the second half of the warranty. Also, when I did have an issue, it was within the first year and the manufacturer was very helpful in resolving it (more below).Driver; The worst part of this set. The flex is terrible and bends with barely any effort. It's almost like senior flex. If you require that, then it will work well. Otherwise it will drive you nuts, even as a beginner. It is very hard to hit the ball straight. Within the first 6 months, I had a really bad shot and the heel of the head suffered a large dent. Another reviewer posted pictures of his issues and it was basically the same with mine. Even though I caused the dent in the first place, with my swing speed, it shouldn't have happened. I contacted the manufacturer and they were very helpful and sent me a replacement immediately. However, that one also dented a few weeks later. My buddy purchased this same set after me and within 3 weeks, his driver head snapped off while he was leaning on it. Needless to say, this was the first club I replaced from the set and I have not seen any dents since.Woods; The flex is a bit stiffer than the driver, but not by much, especially with the 3 wood. I struggled with these clubs the entire time they were in my bag. However, I didn't replace them since I thought I just sucked at hitting woods. I also wasn't fond of the fat and rounded base of the head. After getting my new 3 wood this year, I have improved greatly. The flex is stiffer and the head is a bit flatter and thinner than the ones in this set. I just don't think these worked well for the courses I play.Hybrids; Really had no complaints about these. I felt like I could hit them consistently well. I used the 4 wood more than anything, just because I didn't really feel like the 5 fit anywhere for distance between the 4 and 6i.Irons/wedges; My favorite part of the set. Felt very professional for such a cheap set of clubs. Could hit these very well as a beginner most of the time. Unfortunately, I lost my 6 iron after the first year and I couldn't find a replacement. Also, I did notice that just my wedges starting rusting on the shaft within the first year. Not sure why this happened with just the wedges and not the irons.Putter; I realized I suck at hitting a blade putter. This was the second club I upgraded, to a mallet putter. Not bad if you're a blade player though. My buddies tried it and liked it.Bag; Nice bag with plenty of room and fit all the clubs without issue. Easy to walk with or put on a cart.Overall Opinion; Like I said earlier, I bought this as a beginner and I really don't think you can go wrong. If you want to save some money, you can definitely get away with having a set with 1 wood and 1 hybrid. I honestly thought I would need both, but in the end I used the 3 wood and the 4 hybrid most of the time. I actually liked this so much that I purchased my girlfriend the women's version when she started golfing, with less clubs of course. If you're starting out, definitely give this some consideration, but be prepared to replace the longer clubs sooner than later once you get the hang of it.
