Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the appearance of the mat was in the area that I was looking to put it. It was the perfect size and shape for the pen I was putting together for my pups. The thickness was awesome to provide a good amount of cushion for them to lay on, play on, and to diminish a good amount of the noise for my neighbors in my apartment building. I would sincerely recommend this companies' products to anyone (barring having aggressive chewers - see below) looking to set up a comfortable play area for their pups.I cannot, in good conscience, leave out that my pups were able to lift and chew the mat. Mostly, this is just to point out that some type of thick covering (an area rug or blankets) may also be needed for chewers. However, I was far to critical of the product itself. After speaking with the seller, I found that it was not only a new product size for them but also that I missed a comment regarding it not being chew proof. In truth, nothing is completely chew proof and I should've taken that into consideration.Furthermore, and the key factor in the update to the review, the rating, and taking the time to write this is that they contacted me almost immediately and provided feedback in a kind, professional, and meaningful manner. The seller, unlike so many these days, did not attempt to buy a good review at the time of purchase or after initial contact. To me, that is extremely important. It speaks to the pride they take in their product and to their willingness to provide superb customer service.If you're on the fence, take a second to consider that this is a honest company that is competing against companies throwing around 'If you 5 Star our product, we'll give you a $5 gift card.' This is the type of company that I would prefer to do business with any day of the week.

As a family with three large dogs and a house with hardwood floors its safe to say we always had trouble keeping everything in tip top shape. I am so disappointed we did not find this product years ago. Its easy to cut into sizes that you need. We have 3 massive metal crates that would normally scratch out floors; with these we are not worried about them at all. They are super easy to clean and can be put under water bowls, furniture, dog crates, dressers, etc. If you spill water on them its easy to clean up. If you drop food on it or it collects hair its easy to vacuum. I highly recommend this product.

It's a very nice mat but far to easily destroyed. My 2 aussie doodles ripped it within 2 days. It is a nice mat if you have a dog that doesn't chew but its basically a large yoga mat with a little bit tougher surface, but not by much. I got a couple of large horse stall mats from my local tractor supply for a fraction of the cost and they are much more durable and unable to be destroyed, but do have a rubber smell at first.

I haven't received the mat yet, but using a product like flex seal (sealing product) could make it leak proof. I noticed another review that mentioned it's not chew proof. I'm also considering taking a piece of plywood flooring and stapling the mat to it. It would work in sections if you think you might have trouble moving it depends on the area. My dogs love to chew the corners of rugs, mats and even beds so by stapling it down they can't lift the mat up to chew it. Just some suggestions that might help others out. I was going to wait to receive the product first before reviewing it, but it doesn't hurt to post something helpful to the community. Thanks to others for posting previous experiences with it I know ahead of time what to expect.
