All the info needed is included. very small characters (a lot of data to present). when folded, too big to be included in a snall (for D800) camera case, a small booklet might be better format.

For some uses this Cheat Sheet is OK. The camera displays are numerous and information dense; the manual small and almost useless. This product is laminated and will generally suit you better than printing the camera's manual (a free download from the manufacturer's web site) and snipping out the needed pages.But not something your should need in the field. Other reviewers of this and similar products point out that while all symbols and settings are covered, the real information you need is what the settings mean and what the proper choice is for various aspects of photography. Why assign focus to the AF-ON button vs. the shutter? Continuous focus or single focus? What color space? What metering pattern? What auto exposure mode? Each of these deserves a detailed discussion and this will not fit on a single page.As a practical matter, you will almost never have time to stop and read this product (or any book/manual) on a complex DSLR before making an image. You need to be prepared before you leave home. If you are unsure about how it works, practice at home. One big advantage of digital photography is that there are no per shot costs (unlike film) and you can easily trash all the practice images. Generally, I would think anyone buying a D800 would have some experience with DLSRs before shelling out for this high end model like this.If you want the insider's POV on settings, give some serious attention to Thom Hogan's books.

I have recently purchased the Nikon D800 / 800E Cheat Sheet and have found that it is an excellent running sheet of information to use when in the field with my 800E. Whether it's sport, news or just getting your photography right first time, I am finding the information informative, accurate and very useful to getting things understood and just spot on. Excellent addition to any photography field library.

This guide book was less interesting than the manual that comes with the camera. Every camera feature that I wanted to know more about had only a sentence or two written about it. I was looking for a guide book that contained some creative tips on using this great camera. Instead the author uses the book mostly to show off his mediocre photographs.

This easy to use laminated tri-folded guide is filled with comprehensive camera information. With symbols and very clearly written descriptions it enables you to quickly navigate to what you need to know in order to operate the D800/800E. The information is accurate and easy to locate. I find myself referencing the CheatSheet over and over again - after first trying unsuccessfully to decipher the Nikon manual. It just keeps bailing me out. It's durable, compact, and lightweight enough to take with you everywhere the camera goes. The print is tiny but I guess it has to be in order to fit so much info into such a small package. The CheatSheet is what Nikon should have provided along with its monster manual.

The cheat sheet is so compact that you would need glasses to read them. Also there is nothing special about what is written. A waste of money.
