This adapter includes a proper DAC. Its USB display name is "CHBT Audio".I did a few basic measurements of the headphone output. I measured a maximum output level of 0.19 Vrms (unloaded), which is not particularly great and could cause problems with low-sensitivity headphones. Its output impedance is 5.5 Ω, which is too high and will cause frequency response errors (i.e. bass/treble imbalance) with most headphones. To be fair, at this price one wouldn't expect much better performance, so I'm giving this device a "meh" rating.The charging part seems to work well, including fast charging with my Pixel 3.Be advised that a number of other adapters of similar appearance and price appear to be the exact same hardware sold under different brands, as they all appear under the same USB display name and their headphone outputs have the exact same basic characteristics. One exception is the adapter sold under the VIMVIP brand, which has better output level (0.72 Vrms).

Excellent product overall but I went running in the rain with the adapter exposed and it (not surprisingly) stopped working after about 25 minutes and wouldn't work again, even after leaving in rice overnight.I expose my phone (pixel 2) to rain all the time, so assumed the adapter could handle it, especially since it was one of the more expensive options.Highly recommend, just be wary if you need it to withstand the elements without protection.

Bought to be used on a Huawei P20 Pro. Works as expected :DPhone displays device as "Non-certified Type-C Digital headphones" and advises that it draws additional power.I haven't noticed many negatives - it doesn't seem to drain too much additional power and audio output seems to have more base especially if output to bigger speakers.Not sure on the build quality just yet - after being used almost daily the connectors feel a little slack now - hopefully it will hold up going forward.

Only had this for a few days, so can't comment yet on durability other than to say that it's solidly made with metallic ends to the DAC housing/jack socket and all sockets/plugs fit well and click in reliably. Haven't had any problem with the USB-C falling out of my Pixel 2xl socket as one or two others have described. Fast charging works fine and the sound quality is very acceptable to me - as good as any other headphone sources I have apart from my Cyrus amp with high bit rate FLAC player attached. No complaints for a relatively low cost item. It was recognised immediately when first plugged in and has performed flawlessly since (I use headphones a lot!)

Bought this product for a Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium but unfortunately the headphone jack part does not work as it does not play any sound at all, I've attempted with different headphones but no luck, all it does is open Google assistant and after disabling that it doesn't do anything. The charger part works fine though.

On most Smartphones the earphone cabling acts as an antenna for use with the FM radio App. However, this adaptor isolates the cable and hence the antenna from the radio tuner and therefore no FM stations can be tuned in :-( However audio is great on other media.

Worked for 7 days. Now no longer charges through port. When headphones plugged in the black cylinder (with port for charging) overheats....... To be clear this happens when the charge lead is NOT plugged in.... Fire hazard I'm sure. Appalling, complete waste of money

Love this! Life saver for wanting to charge and listen to music at the same time. Fit is great on huawei p20 Pro. No issues at all. Small and discreet so easy to keep in a purse or pocket. 100% recommend!

Il prodotto è molto valido e ben costruito: il cavo è robusto ed il corpo è in alluminio. Ho provato a ascoltare musica e ricaricare contemporaneamente e non ho notato particolari problemi salvo qualche piccola scarica udibile dagli auricolari (nulla di drammatico e mai durante la riproduzione della musica ma solo in momenti di "silenzio").Il prezzo è un po' alto ma credo anche che prodotti meno cari possano dare più problemi e disturbi nel suono.Lo consiglio.P.S.: Nelle foto, l'adattatore è collegato ad un tablet 8.4".

Purtroppo ha un grave difetto non funziona il microfono con qualsiasi cuffia collegata .... per quanto riguarda la musica funziona bene e si può ascoltare e caricare il telefono contemporaneamente

Testato su tre dispositivi:Elephone S8: NON Carica e NON funzionano le cuffieUlefone Power 3s e Huawei P9 Lite: Funzionano alternativamente ricarica e cuffie, impossibile ricaricare e usare le cuffie allo stesso momento

Ne ho altri due di altre marche ma qui si sente molto meglio.Poi c'è la comodità della ricarica..Note 10+.5 stelle.

Non è un dac a 32bit/384khz. A minor costo esistono prodotti con dac a 24bit realtek o ak4552 con portate (in milliwatt) superiori e che riescono a gestire cuffie da 60ohm.Aggiungo, non funzionano ne me o le chiamate.Come si fa a dare meno di una stella?

Der Adapter kam schnell und gut verpackt an und ist Haptisch gut. Leider wurde er nicht von meinem One PLus 7 erkannt.Geht daher zurück.Schade
