I want to know if the sta-flo laundry starch is scented or of it's unscented?

Can I put this in the final rinse when I'm washing fabric instead of spraying each piece as I iron? Does anyone know if this will work?

Actually, the best way to use this is to follow the directions according to whether you want light, medium or heavy starch, then soak pieces in the mixture one at a time and wring them out. Toss them in the dryer or hang up and let the drip dry (preferably outside). You can iron the pieces while they are damp or dry. I find if I iron the item after it has dried and use a lot of steam, the ironing goes quickly and the item looks "crisp." As far as putting into the final rinse, I don't know why that wouldn't work as long as you remember that you need a cup of starch to every four or five cups of water in your rinse cycle. That is quite a bit of starch so you will want to starch quite a few things at the same time.

I mix it with water- about half & half- (maybe a little less starch)- & spray it on my husband's jeans as I iron them. He likes his jeans starched heavier than his shirts!

Can this be used to stiffen crochet angels and snowflakes for ornaments?

Yes, it is probably most often used for that purpose. I actually purchased my bottle from the arts and crafts department. It has been a while since I made crochet ornaments, but I remember that Sta-Flo is the starch I used for my project. I've been hanging the "snowflakes" on my Christmas tree every year for nearly twenty years.

Exactly what I needed

I needed spray liquid starch for a project i was working on. I just did not want the aresol spray starch that was available in the store I went to. I was glad to find it here on Amazon and for a good price. I just mixed and poured it into my old spray starch bottle. I used to buy a product called Spray n Starch and I can't seem to find it anymore, I can now mix my own and mix it to the strength I need for the project.

Have you been looking for old-fashioned liquid starch?

If you are like me and would rather use liquid starch IN shirts rather than spray starch that gets all over everything and only sits ON the shirt and usually flakes all over everything....then you know liquid starch is almost impossible to find. Sta-Flo is the same as when my grandmother used it. Im so happy to find it. Definitely worth 5 stars to those of us who can't afford to send out shirts to a commercial laundry but still want it to look like we did.

Great for making slime :)

Mixed this 50/50 with clear elmer's glue Elmer's Washable No-Run School Glue, 5 oz Bottle, Clear (E305), added a little food coloring, and it made some awesome slime/goop for my 2 year old to play with. He had a great time and got it everywhere! It all came off easily with a little soap and water. Great craft, will definitely do again :)

I have used Sta-Flo starch for years for my table ...

I have used Sta-Flo starch for years for my table linens and my husbands shirts. However i feel that cost of shipping extremely expensive and I will start looking for an alternative. I'm sur my Grand mother did not have Sta-Flo and she starched every thing.

Because this starch needs to be dilluted, you get to choose how strong you want the starch to be. For someone who likes crispy shirts, this is for you.ProTip: First time buying, make sure you have a clean, empty spray bottle to dilute into.

Best Slime Maker Ever!

Used this to make slime for my son's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle party. It was a HUGE hit!! The parents may not have agreed, but the kids did!! :-)
