Picture not super clear in the photo but fabric is ruffled. I assumed the word "plain" would have meant flat fabric but it's a nice item. Good value for single, quality item purchase.

Good Cummerbund for the Price
I bought this cummerbund for my Dinner Suit outfit, as until this point I had been wearing a belt which isn't as suited to dress. The item arrived quickly and was packaged well. The material seems of good quality and has lasted me many dinner nights so far. The cummerbund is attached through an elastic band and hook system that wraps around the back of your trousers. This can be adjusted to different sizes, but as a word of advice I am a 32" waist and I was about the limit of how small I could make it.Before you buy it, it is worth ensuring that it is the same material and colour of your bow-tie, as it doesn't look right if they don't look the same. If you don't already have a bow-tie, it might well be worth buying a bow-tie and cummerbund set.
