Airbox Lights Model 1x1 Inflatable Softbox with Gridset (Black)

Fits the cn-600csa from nanguang pretty well, nice to have a small portable softbox, I wish I would have gotten the kit with the pump! It's not hard to blow up, but it feels kinda dumb when you have to do it in front of clients (that sounds weird but you guys know what I mean right?!). I wanted to rate it 3 stars because of the price, but what other options do I have? The led I use it on was under 2 hundred and with that you feel like you are getting something for the money spent! I Also Got a large umbrella softbox that sets up quick from cowboy studios but the led panels sit really high up in it...but for less than the cost of this I have a larger softbox...I have a kitten and worry about her popping this haha...my wife got me to buy it because I threatened to make my own softbox...and I might have to do just that for my other panels haha!! don't tell her okay guys!!!

I bought this for my Aputure Amaran AL-528S LED Dimmable Daylight. It doesn't fit that well, because the 528S is much smaller than a typical 1x1 which this airbox is designed for however when I upgrade to a 1x1, I'm sure it will work just fine.I've purchased some of the smaller airboxes for my set of Lowel Blenders and they work superbly. The main hassle is finding a case to store the metal grid with the lights and accessories.You can't beat the price for a really well designed light modifier like these.

It works. I like that I can put it on any 1x1. For me there are better solutions though.

great invention-who would have thought. ingenious. works great ,no problems, folds/rolls up easy and does the job cheaply.only issues are when its cold. just like any plastic blow up. stiff and may leak. we'll see how it lasts in the field, but in studio should be good.

While I love the flexibility and portability modern LEDs have to offer, I find the quality of the light wanting. Unfortunately putting diffusion directly on the face of the unit does little to help this. For several years I used a silk about two feet away from the light but this corrupted the key features I delighted in with these fixtures. I longed for a tool that would dovetail nicely with the unit. Airbox has succeeded in this to perfection. The chimera separates the diffusion from the light just enough to evolve this light from function alone to function with pleasing aesthetics. The set-up is quick and painless but the genius comes in its portability. I've traveled to China and Germany and across the United States with this softbox and it packs into whatever space I need it to. I'm never packing around it. Rather, it fits within my kit where I need it to. When you're packing with other inflexibles like 19mm rods or tripods in mind, this flexibility and dependability provides just the right solutions for a functional and useful camera and lighting package.

I use these with a pair of Came TV 1024 LED lights. I had to remove the barn doors but that is fine since barn doors on LEDs are not as useful plus I needed the weight savings for travel.When I first fired up my new LED lights I was struck by how harsh the light can be for the talent to look towards. I was scheduled to record a series of classes and I was concerned the lights would be too annoying for the speakers. These airboxes solved that problem. I recommend adding an extra sheet of diffusion in the available slot on the front for maximum effect. Another plus is that they are light, flexible and flat for easy travel.I also bought a handy pump they make which is light, quick and inexpensive. The company was great to deal with as well.

This inflatable softbox is a fast and effective way to soften the Lite Panel, and the eggcrate is great for making its output more directional. I love it and use it any and every time I use the panels.
