This is my first time to use a Glass Nail File. I have to say this is the best tool, since slice bread was invented. It perfectly and easily smooths out my nail tips. It doesn't take much pressure or time to get a beautiful shape and smooth nail tips. I wish the file were longer, but I can still value its effectiveness. The chamois buffer is also a great quality nail product. It gives my nail beds a smooth, even texture with a super high natural shine. Both products are super affordable, and a great value for the price.The set came packaged beautifully in a super cute box, as well as a black velvet tie bag to store/carry the set. I am very happy with my purchase, the quality, the value, the quick shipping, and friendly customer service. Arrived very quickly and I couldn't wait to use it. The set is beautiful and high quality. I've never used a glass file before but it immediately and gently took away the ridges that have been developing on my nails and then the quality buffer brought them to a glass like shine. I plan on buying some more as gifts to go along with gift cards or care baskets.Pictures: i had lost the polish on my ring finger so decided to try the buffer. Quite happy with the glass like shineMy son's nails are raggedy so to test this set i used it on his right hand only and very, very quickly but was happy with the difference it made.

update—2/15/20– ive tried it a couple of times and realized that the efficacy of the product depends on your nails. Since mine are thinner and some are ridged, I don’t get the lovely smooth sheen that others have achieved. I am also careful not to overdo the filing with the nano glass: as someone else noted it literally takes off a layer of nail to allow the chamois buffer to give the high sheen. So if your nails are thin, you need to be careful. Bottom line, if you have good nails, this product will indeed do a 5 star job!======.I bought this product based on the multiple 5 star reviews. It arrived on time and items are as described by the seller. I just used it on fingernails, and while it is easy and does give some shine to the nails., the finish is not even. It looks similar to the way nails look when the clear coat has come off after some days/ weeks: some portions of nail have a good gleam and other spots are dull.It could be that I will get better with practice, or that the ridges in my nails make things awkward. Either way, I can’t give it more than 3 stars. I will keep trying and update/upgrade the review if the results improve.

Overall, a good buy. Both the file and the buffer work well and get the job done. The file is a bit small in order to fit easily into a bag. It makes it a bit awkward to use, though. They come with a velvet-like bag to prevent the file and buffer from getting lost in your bag.

Shiny, smooth nails are the result of this file and buff. I read about how chamois is a natural product to improve nail health, but the designer version was over $50! So yeah, this was definitely a good value for the money. The thickness of the nail file feels solid in my hand, and the handle on the nail buff is ergonomic. I’ve bought them for my mom, mother-in-law, sister, and sister-in-law too.

I don’t think it’s a Glas file. It’s something else. I have no clue What it is, however main point is it feels rough to my nails and totally misses the purpose of gently filing them. I will return it.

I was looking for something different than the standard nail buffer, which actually removes layers of the nail bed. Back in February went to a nail salon (with a broken nail) and got a dip manicure, which damaged my nails. Since using this file and buffer, my nails are much stronger. The file is gentle, and buffer is perfect! Creates shine and supports healthy nail beds which are the perfect foundation to an amazing mani!

I have thin brittle nails too much alcohol too many desinfecting wipes, I noticed that they were very porous so I thought shining them would help and indeed it has worked. My nails have grown and are stronger.
