Cannoli Shells - Light and Flaky - 24 Shells - Frank and Sal Bakery - 5 Inch

The shells arrived in a 6 piece plastic shell with plastic wrap on top. They were unbroken, fresh and very tasty. I like to coat the inside with melted chocolate to help prevent the shells from getting soggy. I will purchase again.

I think they bake these to order. It did take a couple extra days to arrive, but no complaint here... just plan accordingly if they are for a party. Fresh, crispy, and awesome! They come packed in trays, each in it's own cell; six per tray. The plastic trays are stacked and have tissue or food paper, cardboard, & bubble wrap layered in between each tray, the multiple trays are then stacked and the whole stack is bubble wrapped and placed in a box. Amazon also bubble wraps and boxes up the original box. They arrived perfect and none were broken. The 5 inch cannoli's hold about 2 oz of filling or more! These are BIG shells and hold a lot of filling. One is plenty for one person.

Worth every penny! I wanted to make cannoli for the holidays and I couldn’t find any that reasonable. Then I clicked on these and took a chance because they were freshly made and sent. These exceeded my expectations and I will be ordering again the next time I make cannoli. Thank you so much for a great quality product that made my holiday special with a little taste of home.

My husband is from the east coast and always talks about the Italian cheeses, cannolis and rum cake. I've tasted all those things and they do nothing for me, but it was his birthday, so I ordered him some. First, the package came promptly, well packaged and insulated. I did have contact with someone from Frank & Sal's and they were very pleasant, helpful and customer service oriented. (Which is kind of a surprise from a business in New York, lol) I was so excited to present my husband with authentic Italian cannolis on his birthday and he loved them. I ordered the cream too which is amazingly good. The shells are quite large, have a good crisp texture and aren't soggy or tasteless like some. They are good on their own, but w/the cream, divine. The cream is already in pastry tubes making it easy to deal with, so it wasn't a hassle at all to fill the shells. Delicious. We had cannolis for breakfast and dessert for a couple days, and oh my goodness, it made a cannoli fan out of me. Highly recommended. I would recommend the shells the cannoli cream and the cheese from Frank & Sal's. Will purchase from them again.

These were good. Wrapping seemed janky but they were not broken, each one was in it's own plastic pocket with bubble wrap and cardboard. I will order again.

These are beautiful and crispy and were packaged with care. Only 2 shells were broken. The reason for 3 stars is because they are just too big and cannoli are too rich. Most of my guests could only take a few bites, so there is a lot of waste.

Received them in about a week and a half after ordering them so they came in a fairly timely fashion. The flavor on them is really nice and they have a fantastic cinnamon after taste which I love. My number one complaint is that they were packaged incorrectly. They were all stacked on top of one another and didn't have any sort of packaging between the layers. Because of this, only the first 2 of the 4 layers were good. The bottom two layers were COMPLETELY crushed, destroyed, and unusable as a cannoli. Out of the 24 cannoli shells that I received, only 14 of them weren't completely broken and only 12 of them were actually 100% in tact. I was lucky that I only needed about 6, otherwise I would have been in a lot of trouble. If they can get their packaging issues taken care of them it would be a full 5 star review.
