Westmark Germany Wedge Egg Slicer

I love this egg slicer. Didn't really know if it was a necessary tool to have but once I received it I wondered why I had waited so long to order it. I've only used it on eggs so far but it's easy, does a great job and cleans well.

I had this in my cart a long time before purchasing it because of the price. I'm glad I finally bought it. I like egg wedges for salads and garnishes better than egg slices. Cutting 6 wedges by hand is hard. It's easy to cut 4 pieces, but not 6. This is metal and sturdy, so I expect it to last a lot longer than the cheapo plastic egg slicers with easily bendable wires.Anyway, it makes very attractive 1/6 of an egg wedges.

Years ago I worked in a restaurant that had these great egg wedgers. I hadn't been able to find one that was similarly sturdy and well-made, until I got this Wedgemark one. It's well-made, solid, and works as well as those older ones we used in the restaurant. I highly recommend.

I have now had this for awhile and love it. It is strong (how hard is it to cut a hardboiled egg - I know) but to cut it cleanly and precisely is the difference. This is extreemly well made = it just feels so nice to use great tools! I hand wash - takes a few seconds - super easy - and set to dry.

I would have given this 5 stars but didn't because to keep this in the closed position you need to slide the provided plastic ban over the two haves.I had one just like this one for years that had a little locking switch at the end.

I really like this egg slicer. Good quality and weight. It makes the job go so much quicker.

No mess, easy to use and easy to clean. I had one of these before that lasted approximately 40 years and when I saw this on Amazon, I had to get it!

I had one of these egg wedge slicers years ago and loved it. Wedges are better for salads and just eating plain than the typical egg slices from slicers found in stores. I searched many stores and surprisingly could not find one in stock anywhere.I'm glad I found this one on the web. Delivery was fast and the product is high quality.
