Five stars. Definitely restaurant quality and does not taste like it comes from a can! If you like sambar, or enjoy the taste of tamarind, do not hesitate. I love this served with basmati rice, but you can dilute with water and eat as a thick soup. It's a winner and great to have on hand for an easy dinner. I just wish it wasn't so expensive.

Understanding how impossible it is to package and sell Indian cuisine that tastes authentic, I must say I'm pleasantly surprised. The ingredients were aromatic and flavorful; the food was simple to cook. I definitely prefer this over pouched Indian meals, and I will be buying more in the future.

This makes a delicious soup. Very flavorful with a little zing but not overpowering. Good consistency and texture.

I have had this before. I like it, but the Aromatic Lentils and Beans are my favorite. I ordered a couple cans. I love it served over a bed of rice. Being a strict vegetarian, I add some soy texture to it.

Enjoyed and is good food. I feel it may be a bit too salty.

I like this brand, but this one tastes like a pumpkin mush and even basmati rice, rotis and all your spices wont fix it. I tried.
