I gave it 5 stars because the cap itself is well made, etc - my problem is that I have a large head and so I always have to go with the largest size I can find. For this cap, I ordered size 8 (XXL), which USUALLY works for me, but is also usually very hard to find. It fits, but VERY tightly and uncomfortably, and it LOOKS like it doesn't fit - so I won't be wearing it.If it HAD fit, it would have been a nice cap to have - so I can't fault them any stars for that as it is more my problem than theirs. Just be aware it runs small if you too are one of us rare huge-brained mutants looking for an XXL cap. 😛

THE VERDICT: For anyone who doesn't want to read the full review, I previously owned only New Era 59Fifty hats. This version by KBETHOS runs true-to-size, is well-priced and of good quality. I would consider KBETHOS my go-to bargain flat-bill.SIZING: Very accurate - I wear a 7 3/8 in 59Fifty. I ordered a 7 3/8 and a 7 1/2 in the KBETHOS to check for size accuracy. The 7 3/8 was exactly right and the 7 1/2 just slightly too large.COST: I think the price speaks for itself, but this was considerably less expensive than other well-known brands. Even among bargain brands, it is still priced competitively.QUALITY: I have had this hat for about a month now and have used it regularly, almost daily. The bill remains flat, the hat has held it's shape up front (the front half is stiffer than the back half), and the color (black) has not faded at all. While the fabric itself is perhaps a bit rougher than my more expensive caps, the difference is more than offset by the price. I have only bought this cap in black, but the variety of available colors is fantastic.COMPARISONS: In looking for a non-59Fifty, I also looked at flat-bills by PitBull and the Flexfit Premium 210. Aesthetically, I found the PitBull to have a wider/flatter front, slightly larger sizing, and a coarser fabric. The Flexfit Premium looked great in terms of shape and fabric, but the categorical sizing limits customization and I found the Large/X-large to be slightly too tight for my personal comfort.

I usually purchase New Era lids but after searching for my yearly replacements I stumbled upon this hat.Initial appearance and inspection lead me to believe that this hat is made well, the fit is true which is a BIG DEAL to me in lids.At a 3rd of the price of my normal purchases I am already pleased, only reason we are at 4 and not 5 stars is because the true test will be in longevity and endurance of the hat.I will update after a real break in period.UPDATE: I was really liking this hat as my New Era replacement but then I received a Flex Fit Fitted 6210 and hands down the Flex Fit is a mucher nicer hat.The material is better quality the black is darker and the hats quality is simply superior.KBETHOS is still a good hat, in my honest opinion Flex Fit is just better hands down.

I decided to give this hat a chance as it was 1/3 the price of a New Era 59fifty plain hat. The hat looks nice and it was what I was looking for in appearance and quality. My only issue is that it fits smaller than New Era caps, so if you buy one, I would say at least go up one size if not two sizes. I normally wear a 7-7/8 in New Era, but I ordered a size 8 in this one (there wasn't a 7-7/8 available). This one in a size 8 fits really really tight. Not a big deal if you have a more common/smaller sized head, just order a little larger and you should be good to go. I ended up giving the hat to a friend that it fit and he liked it. Everyone lived happily ever after.

This is roughly 1/2 to 3/4 of a comparable New Era fitted, which costs 4x as much.The fit is on the small side. I ordered a size 8, and I can wear anything from a 7 3/4 to an 8 in New Era 5950. The size 8 fit me very well.It's made of acrylic, not wool. So you can glue a patch on rather than sewing it. If you use gel super glue it'll remain attached forever.The brim is plastic, not cardboard. So curving it can be problematic (you can't soak it, then dry it curved). I've been able to curve it such that I can wear it, but it wants to return to flat. I may try boiling the bill then curving it cool.This is a durable, well-constructed cap. Unless you are stuck on New Era fitteds, this is an excellent cap.

For the $ this is a great hat ! Don't hesitate ! I got a big dome and ordered the 8 and it fits great ! And has a very qaility feel for an acrylic lid.

i bought 2 of these hat's i've never known my fitted hat size so i took a shot got a 8 but it was about half a inch to big on me. able to fit 2 fingers in it. so then i figured what the heck these are great priced i'll try a different size and just give the 8 to a friend so i ordered a 7 3/4 with the intention's of returning it if it didn't fit and going up to 7 7/8 but the 7 3/4 fits perfectly! i would say if the size is to big and you can fit 2 fingers in the hat go down 2 sizes 1 finger in go down 1 size.will definitely buy again!

Great quality hat. Can't believe I found a fitted cap for under a tenner. Turned up two days after ordering and as soon as I tried it on I ordered another
