I bought this book as my class of 7 year olds in Edinburgh are reading James and the Giant Peach as part of a project. I didnt expect it to be so American ( probably my fault for not checking the details more carefully) and many of the lesson plans etc are not really relevant to us. It is also pitched rather too high for this age group, which is suprising , as the book itself is ideal. However there are some good ideas.
