I bought this to use when I'm cleaning my animals out in the sheds In the garden its small but looks good the volume is loud if you want it's easy to use. The battery's seem to last a long time. When fireworks are going off I leave it on so my pets don't hear the bangs I used to lose them during the fireworks going off but since leaving the radio on I haven't lost any. I've used it if ee have had bad storms as well. It picks up the channels,easy to use can be put anywhere as not plugged in so you could take it out with you if you wanted some music while on the beach etc well worth the money and it fits in your pocket ideal for children as well.

This radio works fine, though the instructions are terrible - very small print, even with a magnifying glass I struggled, and poorly translated from, presumably, Chinese, so even if you can read it, it's hard to understand. It works fine for my purpose of listening to the radio while dog walking. I haven't had a problem with reception, and I use rechargeable AAA batteries, which is handy as sometimes the radio seems to come back on after being switched off, so batteries drain. I think this is something to do with the sleep function, which I haven't fathomed yet. The lock function is described in the instructions under POWER/SLEEP.

Got this recently to use when I go out for little walks either with dogs or on my own. I wanted something I could just wear round my neck on lanyard (supplied) or in a pocket. I have agoraphobia and I find walking around listening to the radio really does help me and keeps me company and calmer. I imagine it would be excellent too for anyone in hospital. No internal speaker but I listen through headphones in any event. It’s really tiny but got loads of stations on auto tune. I am very pleased with it and I really find it keeps me company and reduces my stress when I go out for my walks. Charges via usb in about 3 hrs and has a power remaining indicator. I thoroughly recommend this little gem. Excellent value for the money. Ideal on the daily commute to work I should imagine also. So if you want a tiny little radio, I really don’t think you could do better than this.

This radio is tiny and as a result, could be brilliant if you need just a small reciever with decent portability.However, the antenna is terrible and tiny and can therefore barely recieve a signal regardless of where you are.The built-in speaker is terrible but for £8 I can't complain as for most people, it just needs to make noise.On power up, the radio factory resets and loses it's saved presets and retuning requires furiously mashing the buttons repeatedly as the automatic scan often detects background noise as a station, forcing you to retune in 0.1mhz increments (for FM) with each button press.For me, I just wanted to use this as a reciever as a dedicated reciever would cost at least 5x as much.If you want a decent quality radio, check if your phone has a headphone jack and if it does, I'd recommend plugging something into it and using your phones built-in FM radio, which could save you the £8 and wouldn't be another device to carry

good product,radio is clear and is as loud as you want,as is the alarm siren ,pretty effective, can,t comment on the battery life, never had it long enough,but looking at the depletion bands on the icon it looks like a long laster,usb charger plug is good but i just used my mobil jack in it to charge,note when it comes out the box it needs a 4/6 hr initial charge from new, a webbed carry bag would have been a big bonus.for protection when stored or transporting.

This is a great multifunctional radio that not only works great as a radio but has options to charge via solar and hand cranking but also has a light on it also. Only gripe for me is that solar isn't really useful, I did a test and left it for a few months to recharge via solar but didn’t recharge that well at all.

I was surprised how easy and really well made it is, the sound for such a small thing is really good, really pleased with it.

Sound quality is poor and does not have good coverage, but it was useful for a short period to see if my elderly Dad would use a personal radio while in hospital. There are much better options out there for a much higher price.
