I bought mine at fry's as well. Read comment
If you have an internet connection faster than 2.5GHZ, the app will not recognize the camera at all. For example, I have fiber optic internet 1000MPS and the camera app cannot find my camera. So, I used a friend's phone as a Hotspot and the camera was recognized, I then plugged my RJ45 CABLE into the port backside of camera and straight into my modem/router and I got lucky, coz it works great. The motion is fast & doesn't drag, like when I had WAVE broadband the videos were slow and they would drag when I went last to right or up to down.

False advertising, but good value
I paid $6. You get what you pay for.The camera and Android app both work, but the purported desktop version does not exist. It does indeed have near-infrared night vision.Motion sensing does not appear to work, but I didn't spend much time on that. What I did spend a substantial amount of time on (FOR THE TECHNICALLY-INCLINED):This camera barely supports ONVIF.Furthermore, it has no web GUI. (It shouldn't be called a webcam.)Its RTSP stream is UDP, NOT TCP. (This is very unusual and bad if my hypothesis, that this explains its low (~5 FPS) and HIGHLY variable framerate, is correct.)It has 2 open ports: RTSP on 554 and what I assume to be an unresponsive discovery service on 5000.The stream address is NOT documented. From my brute-force efforts, I've discovered 2 addresses:/onvif1 and /onvif2 (The latter doesn't seem to work.)Lastly, frames are occasionally corrupted.
