The chairs get a 5 star, my husband only gets 4. The pictures were clear and concise, the parts were snug, but not impossible to fit together. The second chair literally only took 15 minutes! The first chair...Learn from my husband's mistake: there are 4 Philips-head screws and 12 fitted for Allen wrench (included). They are reasonably obviously different. He looked at the picture for the first instruction and saw what his mind interpreted as the Allen head screws. They weren't.Problem was easily corrected, chairs are beautiful and he is no longer embarrassed (much).

We ordered four of these rockers for our front porch. They arrived early and well packed. Assembly was quick and easy. The finish is great. These chairs are well suited to taller persons. The backs are high and the seat is deep. We are enjoying our morning coffee in them every day. Compliments from the entire family on the comfort and design.

Ridiculously hard to put together, instructions non-existent. Oh they were included, but if you follow them you are hosed. Biggest thing to remember is to put it all together loosely before you even hand tighten anything. Also check for all parts and connectors. One of the chairs did not have threading for one of the major connections to hold up the seat. I had to go to HD and get a screw thicker than the hole to fix it.Now that they are together they are attractive and seem sturdy. They look good on my front porch. No idea how well they will hold up. Writing this in June 2015, if you are reading 6 or more months later post a question and I will update this.

Bought four of these for the porch. Very easy and straight forward to assemble. Do not understand how anyone could not put these together. Do recommend having a good phillips screwdriver and also using a power screwdriver of some sort or a ratchet hex wrench which made things extremely quick to assemble. Some of the screws appear to start going in crooked, but they eventually straighten out as you get them in due to the design. Does help to use a knife or sandpaper to widen the holes where the screws are placed to enable you to put in the little white knobs that cover the holes. You will know what I mean when you see it. Very comfortable and I am a large man (6' 6"), so do appreciate the wider seat. Will update this review if things change, but for now, love them. UPDATE: One chair split in multiple places and a sap-like substance leached out after three months of use. Seller was very responsive in providing credit. Re-ordered product to complete the set of four (from new seller - Northern Leisures) Product received did not match the photo on website or the other three chairs we already had. Seller refuses to rectify the situation.

For the money this is a good chair. It is sturdy and has a smooth rock. I was surprised that I really didn't need cushions as it is comfortable sitting and rocking without them. It has a clean and smooth white finish. I am a 57 yr. old grandma and I found it easy to assemble. In the future I plan on purchasing the matching love-seat rocker.

Solid wood, But the wood caps that cover the screw heads on the sides didn’t fit! The holes were too big and the caps sunk in and didn’t sit flush like some of the others. Not designed to be that way.

Solidly built and very relaxing. Assembly was not difficult - maybe 30 or 40 unhurried minutes accompanied by a glass of wine. The assembly instructions recommended a coat of urethane to protect the finish from nicks, water, and sunlight exposure. Haven't done that yet, but intend to do so before much longer. The finish is decent enough out of the box. That said, it's probably wise to protect the investment with a coating. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. I bought two and feel they are an excellent value.

Beautiful white rocking chair; wonderful addition to porch. Easy to put together. Sturdy and well built. Very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone. The price was perfect. Well worth it.
