Brooks Heritage Womens Vanguard

Arrived on time.Fit like a glove.I ordered 3 pairs because honestly, I've never worn a more comfortable shoe. I work on my feet all day and I'm obsessed. They look great with leggings, shorts, dresses and they are comfortable as hell!

These are cute, with retro styling and a nice, low profile. I feel like a super hero when I wear them! I'm only giving them 4 starts because they're not like walking on air, which is what I was hoping for, but they've been pretty comfortable for almost daily use. They might not have enough arch support for me, but after I use them a while longer I will report back.Note that blue is a bit brighter than it looks in the picture. Nice color, but not as dark as I pictured.

I have a pair of grey Vanguards that fit very well and wanted a white pair. It has been difficult to find this model in my size in white. I was very happy to find them on Amazon. The sneakers are well made and light weight. I wear them with skinny jeans when I run errands, go to the mall, and for walks in my neighborhood. I find them to be very comfortable. I also like their streamlined shape. Many women’s sneakers are huge and clunky - and unless you are a long legged like the models in the catalogs - can make your legs look stunted and your feet clunky. It is why many over 60 American women look frumpy. These sneakers do not make you look frumpy. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

These sneakers are adorable. Just a great, comfortable 'fashion sneaker.' Not as comfortable as an actual running/walking shoe (no support in the upper, and the sole is cushiony, but not especially thick. But the colors are great (I got two pairs, one in the gold and one in black tweed) & overall, these are a cute, affordable take on the 'sneaker trend.' I'm not crazy about the white laces on these (the black ones have black laces) and they run small or big, depending on how you measure it -- I'm normally a 7 in everyday shoes, and an 8 or 8.5 in running shoes. I split the difference and got a 7.5 in these and they fit great, though with no wiggle room. Could have gone up to an 8, and I'm never an 8, except in running shoes.

I was searching for a pair of blue and gold sneakers. I found these on Amazon and ordered a pair. These are my first pair of Brooks sneakers so I wasn't sure of the fit. At first, I ordered a size 8.5 (my regular size) and the right shoe seemed a tad short so I ordered a 9 and they fit fine. As other reviewers have said, they do not have arch support, but insoles will do the trick. The first time I wore them was in a museum where I stood and walked in these sneakers for over four hours with no problems. My legs and feet did not get tired or start hurting. Although they do not have arch support, they have good sole support. I highly recommend these sneakers.

I have never had a pair of athletic shoes that did not hurt my feet - until now!First, thank you to everyone who suggested going up half a size for a proper fit. I did, and they do.These shoes are comfortable, attractive, provide good arch support and have great soles. I'm in love with Brooks and will be looking for other styles. Happy, happy feet:)

How classy and retro are my new Brooks....let me count the ways. It was love at first sight. My hubby was so jealous he began to scour the web for men's shoes by Brooks but he didn't find a pair as pretty as these. They are comfortable and such a delight to wear. I will be getting another pair in a different color very soon. This tennis shoe is very versatile and can be worn with jeans, shorts and even cute sun dresses. It's like walking on air with a purpose I LOVE THEM. For the price you can't ask for more. Fits as expected and very comfortable.
