Fun new way to make an art project
I ordered this to make a tumbler design stand out. I love the ease of use and how cute it looks. I know it is not its intended use with a double sided sticky sheet but it made my project pop.

No instructions. (First time user) Please Advise!
Okay, I have never used transfer foil before, and there were no instructions. I got a few different brands to find out which was the best (none of the other brands came with instructions either). The colors produced by the Deco brand are brilliant and beautiful. I specifically got it to create fore edge's for my books. (Images hidden by foil or gold leaf that you can only see when the book opens.) This brand came highly recommended specifically for this purpose. I attempted to apply it using a 3d printing smoothing tool with the iron attachment. It's temps range from 180*c to 500*c. I've had the best results with Deco, but it only seems to stick to surfaces with adhesive already applied. Something I only realized after trying to apply it over a transfer image (*Picture attached). Which leaves me with the question: Am I supposed to apply adhesive first? Is there a recommended adhesive to use for this purpose? I've been unable to find any clear instructions for a first time user even after searching online. While it successfully worked over area's with adhesive, it failed to transfer on any of the other surfaces. Please Advise. (For those concerned about the books in the images: it is also my first time making fore edges. I'm developing a process to transfer images while retaining consistent quality for my readers. So all the books used were practice journals and sketch books which I'm recording all my results in. We're currently building a finishing press which should be kinder to the future books we intend to foil edge.) I used this on a couple different books with Deco after the positive results I got. There was one bound with a sewn edge and another with a spiral. The spiral notebook had the best results with adhesion (*it's the bottom one in the image with 4 books in it.) Though because it was a spiral notebook, once it moved the binding resulted in an inability for the pages to line up which caused both the image and the shine to be lost. Because of this, I recommend using stationary bindings if you're attempting fore edges with this. If any deco users or sellers read this, please advice! We're still struggling to get better results, what am I doing wrong?

If you’re expecting bigger read the details
I like most others that didn’t read size of this foil so I was surprised by the tiny pieces when I received it. However it still works great when done correctly now that I’m aware of size I’ll definitely order again.
