Trimz Magnetic Pin Cushion, White, 12 x 8 x 3 cm

Brilliant item, saves time trying to find all those pins that hide from you. Don't know how I managed before without it.

I do like an old fashioned pin cushion but keep dropping pins on the floor so a friend recommended I buy a magnetic item. I love it and can wave the magnetic pin cushion (not a cushion, but hard plastic) over the floor or worktop and pick up all the dropped pins. I also love to use it when I am using the sewing machine and removing pins as I go as I can virtually throw them at the magnetic cushion and they will be pulled onto it even if my aim isn't perfect. The only thing I'm not keen on is the way the pins get magnetised and stick together and also stick to metal things even once away from the magnet. I now use a combination of old soft cushion and magnetic item for a perfect sewing experience! Oh and this one was by far the best price.

Compared to last one this is rubbish the magnet inside is either small or pathetic - you want your pins to be attracted not fly all over the show. I will be looking for a small horse shoe magnet and using pin cushions all around.

This is a good construction item, it is good value for money and with great fitness.Amazon’s description for stretch, the word to be replaced for strength. The strength is good for picking up bins and needles, this is what a quilter or sewer needs is a quick way of collecting pins or using pins on projects. This is not really a question but are oval open pin container.The delivery and service was very swift and good.I don’t really have any dislikes, other than one colour choice.Many thanks Seller, for supplying this pin box quickly and swiftly.

I've discovered several benefits to having a magnetic pin holder. It sits quite solidly next to my sewing machine, most of the time. I've found it to be very useful when removing pins as I sew as I can just 'swipe' the pin in the general direction of the pin holder (just in front of machine, a bit to one side) and they clearly 'feel the force', saving me looking for where they went/dropped.Also, should any pins be scattered on table, or floor, a sweep around with the pin holder and they're all picked up, along with roaming clips too.I've recently bought one for a great niece who's learning to sew, along with her mother, hoping there'll not be too many dropped on the carpet ;)Definitely recommend.
