Sunbeam® Heating Pad Standard Size

This is the most reliable heating pad I’ve found at this price point. It heats evenly, works consistently, and provides steady relief without fuss. A solid, dependable choice.

Simple, reasonable, good quality, no auto shutoff, no fancy timers, stays warm all night long, what more can I say ! Have had so many heating pads in the past that simply did not maintain the temperature and shut off or gaves error message. None of that thing happens with this. High;y recommend it.

Got a "nicer" one here, it died in a few months. Have had this one for about 6mos and works fine. I like that when you turn it off, it is truly OFF without any light on (good if you're sleeping). Having 3 heat levels are adequate. Unlike some, I find the lowest level heats well, but I only have thin cloth between me and the pad when I use it. The cover is of a cheap synthetic material that I'd not put in the wash--I hand washed it (infrequently) and it's ok. I do wish it had a better cover but this one is pretty common on cheaper heating pads. I'm hopeful this will last a long time--it's a good brand I actually heard of so maybe it will.

This heating pad gets very hot on high. You probably want to use it on medium. It does do a timed cycle and shuts itself off after a while. I wouldn't trust it with an elderly person with cognitive issues or a small child or baby. It's fine though for a adult with muscle aches. It stores small, is well made, and hasn't burnt out in all this time. The cloth cover isn't very thick and gets very hot. It has a nice weight to it, though. For the price, it's okay.

We've had a much smaller Sunbeam heating pad for decades. It STILL works! However, as we age we're getting more areas of pain. Oh yeah, and more often. YIKES! This pad is a beast. It is large enough to go anywhere without really slipping. The controls are easy to use. Let's talk again about durability...I'm very confident that this will be another long lasting, often used pad for any needs that arise.

I had a severe kink in my neck and needed relief! I couldn't even turn my head. I know that moist heat penetrates deeper and relaxes muscles more, so I found this one on-line and ordered it because it said it would be delivered before 8am the next morning. Glory be, it was! It was easy so to use. I have a mister bottle for doing my 'flighty fine hair' and just sprayed a fine mist over it to get it slightly moist. It heated up very fast and felt amazing. I work in the medical field and know that you should use moist heat for 20 minutes to relax the muscles, then take it off for 20 minutes, then use an ice pack for 20 minutes to reduce the inflammation than can cause pain by pressing on sensitive nerves. I followed that routine for most of the day, alternating 20 minutes of heat or cold with a 20-minute break between each. By that night it had eased enough that I was finally able to get some sleep for the first time in 5 nights! I was able to rotate my head a little more with less pain and by following the same protocol I was much better that night. The pad is well constructed with quality fabrics and materials, and I highly recommend it. It was a great value for the cost paid and the fast delivery was perfect!!!

Does NOT have an auto shut-off, even though the Amazon listing says it does. Gets nice and hot, though! My problem with other heating pads is that they never get hot enough for me. This one sure does. The hottest setting might even scald you if you touched it directly without the cover or a blanket over it.

I use a heating pad constantly for my back so I have used a lot of different pads. This Sunbeam is large and heats nicely. The cord is off to the side without a protruding attachment so it is comfortable. There doesn’t seem to be a timer which is a plus in my opinion.

I bought this for when my back pain kicks in, and I can tell you this really helps. It's a nice and long heating pad, and the three settings of heat differ enough that the hottest setting is barely needed for me. I use it often, and I haven't found any splitting in the plastic covering since I've gotten it and used it. I also really like that it has a shut off at 2 hours after turning it on. It claims that it's waterproof on the packaging but I haven't tried that yet and probably won't, but the fact the cover for it is very durable makes me believe it most likely is.

Turned this heating pad on and it burned through the material!! Good thing we smelled it otherwise it could have burnt my skin or even worse created a fire!!!

Works good but I find that medium isn’t hot enough and high is too hot. I wish there were more temperature settings. Auto shut off is a great safety feature but I wish you could adjust the time for it to shut off. Overall a good product, appears to be well made.
