Best Tonic. Period.
This stuff is incredible with Hendricks gin, a twist of lime and soda. If you don’t like it, you aren’t mixing it correctly.

Wonderful flavor
I discovered this tonic while touring Castle and Key distillery in Ky. They gave us samples with gin and it was such a welcomed addition to the gin. I purchased a bottle and was a bit worried I might not go through it in the six month shelf time. When I questioned this at the distillery, people around me who buy this tonic laughed and said, don’t worry it won’t last you six months. They were absolutely right, I go through it faster than I thought I would. I haven’t tried the regular flavored tonic but the elderberry is so yummy and refreshing. I’ve recommended it to several of my friends and they are all hooked on it now.

Tasty!
This syrup gives a G&T a smooth taste. No bitter after taste. First had it at Castle & Key Distillery in KY & fell in love with the flavor. Worth the purchase!

I am so happy I tried this Jack Rudy Elderflower tonic.
I am so happy I tried this Jack Rudy Elderflower tonic. It has excellent flavor that doesn't overpower the gin or the quinine. I've tried seven other tonic syrups on the market including the original Jack Rudy, which is very light, but good, and I ended up mixing with Kina and Strong tonics to give more bitterness and flavor. This one to me is the perfect compliment to a juniper forward gin. As I said it allows the flavors to come through and does have more bitterness than the original one. It has a touch of something different in it, which I attribute to the elderflower flavor. Very nice. What I don't like are the very spicy tonics like Strong, and El Guapo that taste too clovy and cinammony, which to me is not appropriate for a tonic. I also like Ruby D's citrus tonic, and Portland Syrups Rose City Tonic, which are all different and outstanding in their own way. Now I've got three totally different go-to tonics to choose from!

That's not a bad thing. Just an observation
More citrusy than most I've tried. That's not a bad thing. Just an observation. Tastes pretty good virgin as well with just soda

Delicious with gin
Perfect with gin, muddled cucumber, basil and lime. Not too sweet at all.

Delicious alternative tonic flavor
I have a Soda Stream so having craft-made tonic syrups for G&T’s seemed like a worthwhile endeavor. It’s a bit sweeter with the elderflower than I’m used to compared to most tonic water, so I add a little less syrup than suggested and sometimes a little more gin. Definitely recommend. The Jack Rudy brand provides consistently good cocktail mixers.
