Shocked at benefits! New hair!!
The media could not be loaded. I have been using Buoy for about 6 months and I have a lot to say so I’ll try to be as concise but thorough as I can:Initial: it was recommended to me by my best friend as she has had recent health diagnosis and had luck with it. I mentioned that I have been sluggish, have been diagnosed with anemia and vitamin D deficiency (I’m just getting older…), and I pee frequently during the night. I get up about 3-5 times even if I don’t drink anything before bed; it’s so disruptive. She said that she noticed she was peeing less at night so I thought…ok I’ll try it out.Month 1: after about a week it did seem to help the night peeing issue. I maybe had to get up 1 time at night. I continued to take it 4-7 times a day but wasn’t sure if it was maybe a placebo affect so I became less consistent at 3-4 weeks in.Month 2: at right about week 5, I took a trip and didn’t bring the buoy with me. This is where I realized….it was ABSOLUTELY helping me. I immediately began peeing all night again. I didn’t feel as hydrated. I normally drink a lot of water so that never changed, I think I was just retaining that hydration more with the buoy. Some unexpected things I hadn’t noticed: I wasn’t as focused, I didn’t sleep quite as deeply, and my stomach/digestion was not great! I hadn’t really considered that my digestion had really regulated throughout that first month with less gas and regulated BMs. So obviously, I began taking it again immediately when I got home.Months 3-4.5: took it very consistently 4-7 times a day.4.5 month in: went to my hairdresser and she asked what I was doing differently as my hair was looking very healthy and I was even growing in new baby hairs! For reference, I have very thin very fine hair. It has always been thinning and I have some significant bald spots in certain areas (I am 39F soooo they may not be noticeable to others but they are very very evident to me) and are a major pain point for me and my hairdresser. I told her I began taking a new biotin shampoo 1 month prior (pura d’or) which helps reduce shed and increase strength but won’t help grow more hair. She confirmed that is not likely what is growing the hair…but it was probably helping my scalp become a very healthy foundation for the follicles. I told her the only other thing I had changed was began Buoy Trace Minerals for about 4.5 months. She said it is very likely that is what is helping my hair grow in, in tandem with my diet+haircare+other supplements (D3/K2, Magtein, Beef Organs, Colostrum, protein, superseed mix in smoothies, green powder mix from my hairdresser’s personal brand).*also just a quick note, my hairdresser also has her own line of hair care, supplements and beauty supplies. She works alongside a nutritionist/scientist team so she has an understanding of why the trace minerals would be working more than the shampoo. She wasn’t just making an assumption. Wanted to throw that out there for context.SO….all this to say I am now at about 6 months in and my body feels great! I do believe these minerals are helping me get the best of all my other supplementation and nutrients that my body was missing before. I am so so so pleasantly surprised about my hair that I could cry and at this point it has gotten even more noticeably full. The only thing I have changed is I added in another shampoo step of DS labs Nanoxidil shampoo (almost the same as minoxidil but not a greasy foam and a slightly different chem makeup). No prescription needed. But obviously I have not seen the results from this yet as it has only been a week or so. Not that anyone is here for hair help but it may help someone! To note, I take buoy as follows: one short squeeze digestion buoy (magenta) in the am. 4-6 short squeezes hydration buoy (blue) throughout the day. I still stop drinking water about 1.5 hrs before bed. I purchased the first order from buoy directly and the second order from Amazon. The first order really was tasteless (except the digestion one which is notable herbal but I like it). The order from Amazon tasted slightly more of rosemary but it didn’t bother me. It did kind of weird me out that it tasted different though, but it seemed to have the same effect.

Buoy is the best!
This electrolyte hydration drop supplement is the best supplement I have ever used. I feel it has literally saved my life. And I'm not trying to be overly melodramatic. I am an older woman with chronic health conditions. And for some crazy reason when I work around the house for a while, sweat just pours out of me, literally soaking my clothes, and I feel like I'm am going to die. In the past I tried other electrolyte drinks that seemed to take forever to work. I saw an ad for Buoy drops and thought it would be worth a try. And I am so glad I did. For me they work immediately. I feel normal in minutes. Now I won't be without them, I even carry a bottle in my purse. Thank you Buoy!

Unsure what to think, has a slight taste
I think it’s helping me a bit with my POTS, it’s probably doing nothing for my migraines. If anything it’s just helping me remember to drink more water. It says its flavorless but it definitely does have a flavor that you can taste in water. Its not strong and doesn’t taste bad but it’s there. I mostly notice it if I put it in my water bottle, if it sits too long the flavor gets more apparent and the water gets a bit cloudy which is off putting. So I would only recommend putting this in a drink you are finishing quickly/in one sitting, not in a water bottle that you carry around all day. I’m not entirely sure how to feel about it, but I got a pack of three so I’ll update if my opinion changes.

Buy it
Listen, I know people are drinking less, but some of us still like to enjoy ourselves every once in a while. (I’m kidding. People can enjoy themselves sober. Relax.)One tiny squirt into each beverage you drink - assuming you aren’t downing sugar bombs or mixing beer, liquor, and wine - will prevent 99% of the negative effects of a hangover. It will also prevent you from getting “too drunk,” which is what I use it for. It’s perfect for long festival or concert days, great for slow day drinking. It’s perfect for any drinking situation you can think of.This stuff is a miracle unlike anything similar I’ve seen. Without it, I can’t drink.

Not Eligible for Returns
I was so excited about this product. I got unflavored but found it had a strong smell/taste, something like salty mint. But it makes sense that it's salty I figured that's ok if it works to make me feel better. Unfortunately, it made my tongue and throat numb and tingly and then nausea and some minor breathing issues. It probably contains a food I am sensitive to and should avoid. I can't see myself pushing through the grossness to then have other unpleasant side effects several times per day. Unfortunately, it's not able to be returned so I'm out the money on a product I can't use. Might be a different situation ordering from the company's website instead of amazon so FYI for future buyers. (I opted to go with amazon because I wanted the product asap and the company site was quoting a much longer time.) So disappointing.update: tried again another day really hoping it would be awesome and the first time was a fluke. Spent my evening vomiting and miserable. This isn’t good for hydration.

Not for Regular Water
If you drink flavored water or something else you may have better luck, but wouldn’t recommend if you’re a habitual plain water drinker. Bottle says add a “light squeeze” (~1/3 tsp) to any beverage at least 12oz and it’s flavorless, and that if you can taste it you’ve used too much. I measured out 1/4 teaspoon not even filling anll the way and put it into my 35 oz water, gave it a good mix, and I can still taste it. It’s a bitter aftertaste even using less product than recommended in a much larger volume of beverage than recommended. I’m disappointed, I really wanted to love this. You’re supposed to use it 3-5 times daily so I’m not sure how long the small bottle will last. I like that it doesn’t have sweetener, but the aftertaste may be more than I can deal with. It’s better with a flavor packet if you usually do that this could be a good addition.
