I have used these for holding plants and decor in place in an aquarium. The zip ties allow for flexibility and creativity for use. Make sure to file edges down on zip ties if you have fish with delicate fins.

These stick to things. You'd be (or maybe not) shocked how many we had to try just to get *suction cups* that had *suction* and weren't just... cups. These are currently holding a breeding nest for a new plant my wife picked up; we've used them for other projects in our aquarium and not been disappointed yet. Putting them in the water with the fish hasn't killed anything, which also surprised me a little. All in all I would highly recommend these if you need some.

..... the little zip cables are not all that great. A bit too smooth for the contraption to stay firmly in place. If someone can figure out what to do about it, you'll be happy with the purchase

I'm new to aquariums and live plants and am not knowledgeable or brave enough, yet, to advance to an actual planted tank. These things provide the answer! I have giant hairgrass and adjusted the zip ties so that the grass and roots weren't strangled, yet couldn't get loose and just attached the suction cups to the back just barely below the lightweight gravel so that the suction cup couldn't be seen. I also attached them to the bottom of the tank with amazon sword etc. Suction cups make vacuuming the tank much easier than plants super-glued to rocks. Ordered two more sets!

I'm using some to hold pieces down in the water and that seems okay but I put one above the waterline to hold my heater's cable in place and it comes off the glass every dang day. I it's not holding the heater up, it's just trying to keep the cord in place but it doesn't seem to stick to the side of my tank.

Works great in my betta tank for the thermometer and my filter, been a few days no sign of falling.

It’s ok this is something I would buy at a dollar store because it’s really cheaply made and it’s way! Smaller then what I thought. But it does the job that I needed it for and the suction part is good but like I said it’s really cheaply made and I wish the zip ties were a Little longer. I used it to hang the little vine in my iguanas tank.

The zip ties make these usable on just about any piece of aquarium equipment. I got them to use as replacements for the cups that come on those cheap glass aquarium thermometers and they work great. I have to see how long they last though. The originals get hard and don't work after about 5 or 6 months. These have already gone from clear to translucent white so we'll see.
