Excellent book. Great detail

I have been using this book as an almost daily devotional, to further my understanding and love for the Eucharist. Incredible revelations by this Saint, who is new to me. It truly brings the Eucharist to a most personal level, as it should be! But the Saint-author also spans the time of history; from before Christ's physical time on earth, to His time on earth, and then to now-- His Presence in the Eucharist available to all of us around this world. Amazing!A couple pages at a time, tidbits of wisdom, are all that is needed to truly grow closer to Christ in the Eucharist. This is also an obvious choice to take along to Adoration. I can't recommend it enough.

Understanding the true presence of Jesus is so crucial to our essence. St Eymard really emphasizes this fact and is very helpful in pointing out the direction.

Unfortunately this book belongs on the list of 'classic reprints' that give little to no consideration to textual formatting or layout or — beauty. It seems like basically a print-out from a Word document. The blurb on the back is so small it's bare readable. I haven't looked closely enough to evaluate if the OCR made mistakes, but I think I'll be finding a different version of this text. If the publisher is reading, please give more thought to what you're doing. This is a book about the most sacred reality of the Christian faith. The respect and reverence owed to it should be at least minimally represented in a book about it.Others may be content with just the words and not care about the format. If that's you, you may disregard my comment.

These reflections are the most beautiful I've ever read. They not only help you to appreciate the Eucharist more, but also give you much food for thought and mediation.

Although there are several typos this was an awesome book. I also wonder about some of the translation, as some sentences seem awkward...not sure if it is word selection or sentence structure. But that being said, this book is very inspiring and beautiful...it is no wonder St. Peter Julian Eymard is considered saint for the Eucharist.

This book is a collection of St Eymard's writings on the Holy Eucharistic.He writes in very clear and easy to understand language that is easily accessible to anyone interest in Christ in the Eucharist.He give some very practical suggestions on adoration "how to" (if I may...) Additionally, there are sections about adoration and various solemnities.It amazes me that this saint and these writings are not better know in the Church. I have taken to adding St Eyamrd to my prayer requests for his assistance in making the love or christ in the eucharist better known and loved.

This is a great and easy to use book, full of really accessible, solid Eucharistic spirituality. Excellent counsels from a great master of Eucharistic life.

Written simply but with huge insight, this Saint gives a deeply inspired view of The Holy Eucharist. I would highly recommend it for devout Catholics. Those outside of the Catholic faith may find therein the calling to become Catholic and thus take part in the Feast that is the Holy Eucharist.

Perfect for Adoration! With this book one hour is like 15 minutes! Really gives you a lot to meditate on and fill your hour and some.
