Very Disappointing
I am totally astounded by the number of 4 & 5 star reviews this book has received. I think my copy must be very different from the copy everyone else received. This book reads like it was written by an elementary school child. The section pertaining to storage and safety tips is so repetitive it's almost painful. Under "Common Questions" it says "How do you choose what type of flour to put into your protein bar?" The answer..."Most people will choose the flour that should go into their protein bars depending upon the recipe." Seriously? What kind of answer is that? Then there's the recipes themselves...."Honey Bars" list of ingredients includes "5 scoops of Why." Yes it really does say "Why" and not "Whey" which I'm assuming is what the author intended. In the very beginning of the book, there's "some" useful information about what ingredients are best to use in a protein bar but nothing that can't easily be found online. Same goes for the recipes, I found much better recipes by just Googling "DIY protein bar recipes." Save your money.

So sad !
I gave 3 stars, because although there may be some good recipes, 9 were no cook, and only 1, to bake. That's not many, but I guess there's only so many ways to make some ? I was hoping for some more kinds that you bake . The description said there was both, so I assumed more than one. Maybe partly my fault for not looking at the reviews as I usually do. I expected more. Am I wrong for that ? I had thought to myself at the time, that I ought to just look on line for recipes. Everythingjust about, is there to learn from. Next time I hope I won't lose my brain and press buy without thinking more and lookingfurther into reviews. Maybe it was just my expectations !What about adding a few more baked recipes ? What's in here does look like they could be very good, and if you'd rather not bake , then you'll probably like the book.

It's ok.
Eh, for $4 it's not bad, however there are only 10 actual recipes in this book. I could have found 10 recipes online in less than 20 minutes, for free. I was expecting more. Also, one of the other reviews mentions a "s'mores" recipe in the book, but there isn't one. I wonder if some of these reviews aren't 100% fabricated.

This book will teach you how to make your own protein bars can be fun and easy. This book will take you through the DIY protein bar process, allowing you to experiment with different recipes and understand why you may want to try your hand at making protein bars as well. A very well written and easy read book. Thanks!

I enjoyed reading this short book, and the recipes were simple, excited about trying some and I was pleased to see that I could substitute items and make mine gluten and dairy free!!!!

Very Basic
A few recipes makes this very short. Not really a book more of a pamphlet. The proof mistakes are many but not too distracting. Overall I gave it three stars for the recipes.

informative
I would have liked to see more gluten free and low carb recipes. I make my own protein bars and this book introduced me to some new ingredients I think I would like to try.
