Norbert's Athletic Products Gymnastics Mini Bar

The Norbert's Mini Gym Bar, arrived less than a few days and was packaged to its exact dimensions and heavy. After opening the package I was very impressed with the "Professional Grade" product in terms of metal tubing design and heavy gauge thickness, the footing of the mini bar is well over its dimension in length for safety purposes when swinging back and forth around the wooden bar, The Wooden bar is thick in dimension and extremely strong and sturdy to hold the weight of my two kids @ 43 lbs a piece. When it comes to "Simplicity" the Norbert's Mini Bar, took me less than 5minutes to put together!!!! I just placed the middle support flat bar through the side support bars insert and tightened it down with an Allen wrench that was provided and inserted the wooden bar across and viola!!! Presto it is done😃👍😃👍😃👍😃 I Highly recommend this product for its build, strength, simplicity and Quality!!!😄👍😄👍😄👍

This is a great piece of equipment for our little gymnast to practice at home. We took the advice that another customer left on Amazon feedback, and added extension poles to make it more sturdy. That was easy, and all it needed. Our 9-year-old gymnast is able to practice kips, glides, casts, front and back hip circles, dismounts, etc. She is a bit more limited inside because of ceiling height, but in nice weather we'll take the bar and a mat outside where she has more space. The equipment is of very good quality, and we like that it adjusts to three different heights. The shipment arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

The bar is very sturdy, and doesn't wobble. My 7 year old can do pullovers, backhip circles, etc. with no issues. The reason I did not rate it higher is that the bar itself is extremely slippery. When the kids try and glide, their hands slip right off the bar. Don't want a bunch of chalk in our home basement, but not sure what else can be done.

Very weak and flimsy and unsafe for children play on! I want my money back , I wasted $ 400 on nothing .

For this price range, great quality, heavy duty bar, very easy to put together. It WILL tip if you have a child who is flipping around on it (my daughter is 8 yrs old and 70 lbs), however, for $7 I bought two 3/4 inch, 10 ft pipes from the electrical section of Lowes and slid them through the floor supports. I'm going to duct tape the opening to the pipe to prevent sliding, but it worked SO GREAT! Forget $150 extension kits! I may also do sandbags to prevent some shaking, but there's NO way this thing is tipping now. My daughter has been doing kips, flipping all around on it, etc and it is steady and secure now! I'll include pictures!

Super easy setup. Sturdy for basic activities and strength training. I have a 6 yr old boy, 45" tall, and the three different levels are perfect for his height. First level is about to his shoulders, second level - he can reach up, elbows slightly bent, and highest level-he cannot reach without jumping or assistance. It will be good as he grows. Heed the warning, as it is not sturdy enough for swinging flips for advanced users, but for my beginner, it is perfect. With proper reinforcements, it could be fine for next level users.

After reading about the instability of this unit I was concerned that i'd have to do something to anchor it down. I'm pleased to report that for my two girls, both around 45 pounds, it's rock solid. It's on a perfectly level floor, and doesn't move an inch while they use it.I took one star off because while the assembly was super easy, the bar can be a pain to insert or adjust for one person, and they also included a small hex wrench. Companies that include small hex wrenches should find a better way to secure their products.

This product took an exceptionally long time to receive. We like the product and find it best for strength work. Children cannot cast or do any work without supervision. It's great quality but I recommend buying chalk for it as well.
