Brooklyn Headphone Company Studio Pro DJ Studio Style Wired Over the Ear Headset Includes Detachable Cable with Built-In Mic

I'm only a week or so in, so I don't feel that I can say anything as to durability just yet, but so far they have worked just fine, especially given the price.### Pros ###- Detachable cord. I personally didn't like the cord that was included. It was too short and had a coiled section of cable. That's okay, though, because any auxiliary cord (like the one you'd use in a car) will work with these. More on this in cons.- Folds up for travel. You have the option of either rotating the earpieces flat, or collapsing the earpieces into the headband, whichever saves more space in your particular bag.### Cons ###- Cord too short. Not only that, but the cable very easily *could* have been made longer. A portion of the cable is coiled similarly to a phone cord from the dim ages of corded phones. You can substitute your own cable in here, but that takes away the mic.- Loose fit. I have quite a watermelon of a head, and even with the headband stretched out as far as I have it (they are adjusted all the way out) they don't really want to stay on my head if i move my head about. Further, sound quality and noise can be greatly improved by lightly pressing the earpieces to your ears, which makes me feel that these could have been much better.### Neutral ###- Lapel-style mic. Granted, this is stated in the description, and I knew what I was getting myself into. The mic is very sensitive and will pick up even the lightest brush against my neck or shirt; most times this is loud enough to go above my set noise threshold. I fain to list this as a con because some people might prefer this style. Again, not at all a deal-breaker for me, the mic would have just an added bonus if it worked out.I honestly feel that these are more on the lines of 4.5/5, but they're not perfect. Would recommend, though.

These are quite the durable pair of headphones and I absolutely love the swivel feature. One thing that did concern me was that it was a bit loose but other than that, I had no problems. The headphones are lightweight and the texture almost has a rubbery feel. It came in a really nice and modern looking packaging so it looks like you've purchased a set of really expensive headphones. The headphones themselves are well constructed and what I love is that this pair doesn't look gaudy at all! I've even had compliments by random strangers while walking or jogging.The clarity was pretty good. This pair had really good high, mids and lows and it did well in loud public places. Noise reduction definitely exists with this headphone. Audio leakage only happens if you have the volume at the highest setting. I usually put it on mid-volume or low so it doesn't disturb anybody and I could STILL hear the music quite well.I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants quality sound at an affordable price. My favorites used to be my AKG K240 and Pioneer HDJ's because of the comfort level but these BKHC's are comfortable after an enxtended period of time.

So I was planning to get a cheap headset tha met some minimum requirements:Detachable cord, checkIn line mic, checkCompatible with Android, checkAdjustable earcups, checkAll in all this one seemed like a safe bet even though the price was suspiciously low.I took my chance and purchased it hoping for the best. I should have trusted my gut.This headset is a mess!Though it does meet all the aforementioned requirements the earcups are so huge the make me look like an award real life version of Mikey Mouse when you're wearing them and when you let them hang on the back of your neck they feel like they're gonna choke you any time.The padding is so hot that it makes you sweat even on a cool day and the actual structure of the headband is so weird that it never stays in place and you have to constantly turn the earcups back to it's position since they keep moving around, trust me it will drive you crazy. Of course exercising with them is out of question.The sound is dull and there is absolutely NO sound isolation what so ever.On the bright side the cord is sturdy and good looking and it works and since I didn't throw away the box I can put it back in it to give it as a present at work for secret santa ;)

These are pro grade headphones that can be used to DJ, mix recordings, or even used with an Iphone. Good solid fit and flexible cup really allows you the ability to do what a DJ should do. I think the cord is slightly stiff because the coil is tight however it does stretch. I would put these headphones up against any of the higher priced headphones and it would win in price and quality. Nice clean design. If you like a smaller headphone this one is a slight amount larger than the minis however you can wear these headphones for hours and not get a headache or any pain that some headphones create. All in all great product!

Pretty good headset, sound quality is impressive and the microphone isn't half bad either.My ONLY complain is that it doesn't fit snug on ears, a little lose. it's very nice and tight on top but a little lose on the bottom and that i kind of dislike and thought the music would go through the bottom where it's not tight and bother people around me, but I'm yet to get a single complaint and tested it with a friend of mine on max volume metal, he said he could barely hear it standing next to me.

Comfortable, sounds great and very premium style. It is a little big but for this quality of sound, I'd expect that the size is a factor.The dual option of 1/4 or 1/8 plug-in is fantastic idea. Why hasn't someone already done this? Makes perfect sense.My only gripe is that the cable could be longer. I record my sax with these headphones on. And for this, the cable is too small. I think it is made for people who are sitting directly in front of a mixer or music player. On the other hand, love the fact that the cables are not permanently attached so I swapped out for a longer cable.Great product design.Highly recommend!
