The A-Team: The Complete Collection [DVD]

My dad introduced me to this show a few years ago, and I love it. It is fun, comedic, and lighthearted, but with some seriousness and dramatic behavior. And they make fools out of the bad guys, while rarely hurting them. I usually find it more satisfying when villains are made fools of and have their plans foiled than when they are harmed. I especially enjoy it when it shocks them and they cannot figure out how they were beaten. These discs play fine.

The A-Team boasts a cast of Actors whose Ingenuity is breathtaking ! Their Talent combined with great intelligence and sharp wit , all in the pursuit of Justice , makes us want to call on them for Help ! Don’t forget to protect them , for they too are victims of Injustice !!

What a great find! Just happened to catch an episode online and I needed that kind of action/humor w/o trashy talk and scenes. Plus, no commercials pushing medicare and asking for donations to xxx.

I decided to buy the DVD set rather than get it streamed through youtube, prime or other streaming services. I read their terms of ‘ownership’ and they could stop you from streaming videos at any time for any reason. When I purchase something it should belong to me. And if I want I should be able to sell it to someone else. Anyone who buys streamed videos not only don’t own them they might be prevented from streaming videos at all. I bought this set because it was $36. I looked at the cost to stream from online sites and the cost was between $76 and $110. This is ridiculous since the streaming service doesn’t have any costs for manufacturing or shipping the product. They get pure profit and then they can stop you from streaming any time at their whim, essentially stealing the product you paid for. This is like buying a refrigerator and the seller breaking into your house and taking the refrigerator away from you. How is this practice allowed? It’s a racket ran by thieves. The A-Team series is fantastic. I missed almost all of it when it was live but I’m now able to play it on DVD disks and if I choose I can sell the disks at any time. The disks are mine. But streaming companies ‘sell’ you the programs but they can take them away from you at any time. And you can’t even transfer your purchased videos to another streaming service. The greed in corporations is destroying the country.

So far very pleased Bought this because my brother introduced me to the A - Team recently and suddenly I absolutely needed to binge watch the entire show as soon as possible I’m only 2 disks in but so far haven’t had any playback issues (fingers crossed that I don’t for any of them otherwise I might simply cry) All disks were accounted for and undamage although the same couldn’t really be said for the case. The case had a whole corner that was cracked and losing small pieces and personally, the case made me a bit nervous on trying to separate the disks and get them out (they were layered on top of each other) Like I said the disks were fine tho. I did go and buy a CD case to use instead and made it so I had easier access to the disks I would want because it was more laid out so you could see them. The case title sleeve also had an episode list out on the inside of it so if your looking for a specific episode you know which disk to go for Each one has about 3-4 episodes on it and it gives a summary of each episode in the menu Viewing is good, audio seems good Subtitles are a bit touch and go Overall so far, very happy

Growing up in the 80s my parents rarely let me watch things with magic or violence including many cartoons so I missed out on a lot of TV growing up as a kid. Saw this on sale for $30 and my curiousity got me. The characters are fun, the story is silly but the episodes are entertaining. The violence is funny because most gun fights are determined by the side that makes the largest fireworks to repel the enemy by overloading their senses from the percussive onslaught. I kind of like this for cultural significance since nobody ever dies it helps regard life by avoiding death as disturbing but at the same time could be viewed as propaganda hiding realities of violence but obviously it doesn't intend its audience to take it seriously. Yes, this is good, simple, 80s kid fun that I never got to enjoy. The biggest issue I have is it's one you won't want to binge. The stories and characters don't develop based on my foray into 2 seasons. It's pretty much the same formula on repeat with a little different seasoning. They do a decent job of altering the stories but at its core someone is being extorted so they hire the A-Team. It would be nice for the plots to have more substance but as it is, I am in the mood to occassionly throw one on and it usually entertains with its fun surprises and characters who obviously love their roles. Disclaimer: I only finished a season and a half. The first episode does stick for half a second every 15-30 seconds for some reason which is distracting but the other episodes play smoothly in my player.

Reviewing the media and seller, no issues. All disks were readable, no playback errors. I got what I paid for. 5 stars for the product. Just... make sure you actually want what you're buying. This was a "why not" purchase as I remember watching it as a kid. Watching it as an adult, I keep thinking "This would have been over already if any of them could actually aim a firearm." If that kind of thing annoys you, maybe re-read the critical reviews first. Now that I'm old enough to recognize the contrived plot points and be annoyed by all the gun play where nobody even gets scratched, I don't think I'm going to enjoy the re-watch.
