It’s a case of “the right tool for the right job.” So much better to have the correct tools for the task at hand! Saves trying to adapt a method that may not work as well as the proper approach. The cost of these excellent external Circlip pliers is negligible; and one quickly appreciates how much time they save compared to a “make do and mend” way of thinking. Very highly recommended, as is the seller.

Don't know why I put up wíthout circlip pliers all these years, fiddling around with screwdrivers and pliers. This is an excellent sturdy tool which did the job in a matter of seconds. Good price too.

I picked these up as I was getting tired of wrestling with circlips and using makeshift tools. For the price, I wasn’t expecting miracles, but they’ve actually done a solid job. The tips are straight and precise, which is great for getting into tighter spots. I used them on a stubborn external circlip on a lawnmower axle as well as a Level holder and they held firm without slipping or flexing. The spring is strong and the return makes repeated use easier on the hands and its definitely appreciated during longer jobs. Build quality feels decent. They’re not professional workshop level, but for general DIY use around the house or garage, they’re more than up to the task. The grips are comfortable and don’t feel like they’ll fall apart anytime soon. Overall, good value for a DIYer who needs a reliable pair of circlip pliers without spending a fortune. Cheap as chips and perfect for domestic use. I bought to replace a door handle spring and these removed / replaced the circlip a treat. Mind, these are mass produced in China and you can tell and I’d not buy these if I were a trade, obvs.

I bought these pliers to make paper clip chains and these pliers are first rate for this job. Effective, good quality, easy to use and great pricing. Just really happy with these.

Good tool

These pliers are essential for removing (and reinstating) the circlips found in door handles. I have found them invaluable for this purpose. Doubtless there are better quality pliers out there but for the price I feel they represent excellent value.

They did make a difficult job comparatively easy when it came to replacing a split car radiator hose. Hopefully they won't be needed very often, a useful addition to the tool kit. Could also be useful for circlip removal etc.? Wonder if the next size up would give more leverage possibly?
