So I was looking for a lightweight step stool for my camper. The inside of my toyhauler has an 8' ceiling, and so such a thing could be useful. I went on Amazon, and found this. Now I do not recall WHY it was so much cheaper than everything else when I bought it, but it was. FAR less than I see it now. But you know what? It is a very high quality stool / ladder - strong, light, easily set up, and stable. It checks all of the boxes. You will not be disappointed.At the present price, I would probably have to look carefully at others, to seek something even close in quality but less than the current $130 all time high price. So the value part depends on the price - if you look at the pricing trend you will note it has bounced as low as $40 this year, and has generally been under about $85. Not sure WHY so much now, unless someone is playing 'tariff lottery' with your money.In summary: track the price, and DEFINITELY BUY when it is reasonably priced. You will NOT be disappointed. Just dont pay $130!

I have given this as gifts because it is so light and useful. It weighs nothing yet is sturdy and stable with a nice hand bar to hang on to. When the step stool isn’t tall enough and the 6 ft ladder too much, this is perfect and handles most jobs in the home. Highly recommend, if you can find it. It isn’t widely available on Amazon anymore and the price can really vary. If you see it, grab it! You will love its slim light design and use it often.

Light weight but sturdy. Easy to fold and unfold. Weight limit is 250 pounds not a problem for most people.Would make a very practical wedding gift.

Love this sturdy and lightweight ladder. Just the right height for washing your car or tackling household chores.

I have 3 of these, for my kitchen, basement, and workshop. That's how much I like them. When I find a great product I vote with my $$.These are very lightweight, in a GOOD way. They are very sturdy, have a good wide stance, and a large top platform to stand on without losing your balance. The handrail is also positioned ideally to give you something to grab quickly if you need to. As a 6 footer, standing on this puts my head a few inches below ceiling height, which gets me up where I need to be 90% of the time. My step ladder is much lonelier these days.I don't like throwing things in landfills, and every high quality aluminum and plastic part of this can be easily recycled if it ever were to break some day. Which I doubt it will, but still...I've seen other products with tool caddies in place of the handrail, and cheaper construction, obvious from their photos. IMHO the tool caddy is not as important as being able to carry the step stool by the handle and the safety of having a handrail. This product may cost a little more, but it is perfectly designed.

Very lightweight and easy to carry . Super light and very sturdy .

I am holding back a star only because i just received it a day ago and dont have a lengthy enough duration to comment on the durability of this. But it is everything they say it is - lightweight, with a little space for your tools on the top and high stable enough that when I reach up even on my tippy toes on the last step, it remains as is. I was so impressed with how lightweight it was as I had ordered several things and was wondering how to carry this up when they were delivered. but i literally hooked it over my wrist and carried the other boxed together with it and went up the elevator!! Also, It is such an easy snap shut and pull-open folding mechanism, it squeezes into a tiny space i have in my apartment closet.One caveat, I use it around a medium sized apartment that has relatively tall ceilings than usual. It works well with my nails and powerdrill to carry around as i put up shelves and lighting. I am not sure how it would work for more heavy duty work. And it's a nice height for my apartment, may be too high for smaller apartments/low ceilings.
