Who is piggy now?
I am giving it five stars because of quality and price when I bought it.Currently with a doubling of the price in less than a month, dont think I would ever buy it again and currently would give it maybe three stars for value. Yep we only have 2% inflation my buttocks. 100% inflation in a month on this bad boy. Who is piggy now?Ok, some experience with the knife and board. The knife is pretty good, even if chinese, its chinese forged and all the chinese forged knifes, no matter brand or price, are pretty much same ok metal, meaning they take and hold an edge well enough. Most including this one not well sharpened from the factory. But once properly sharpened, they hold edge well. This really isnt a paring knife, too heavy and clunky for that. Its a very short utility knife, much like the 6 inch forged utility knife from cheap set I bought at Aldis, only shorter. I'd call it a picnic knife. If you just wanted to take one knife on travels to do all food prep, and not big one, perhaps this would do you ok. It does have the handy plastic sheath, and the board, though small and light duty, should serve for occasional use. For regular use much prefer a chef knife and a real paring knife and a solid maple board. Or if I could only have one knife, I have this old eight inch 50cent Japanese made filet knife from thrift store that probably be best compromise, it takes a very keen edge. But narrow enough blade to give lot control for smaller jobs.As to the board, it is a plastic sandwich with fiberboard center. Water ever gets to the fiberboard, the board is worthless. Read reviews on the same board only with pic of a cow on it: http://www.amazon.com/Guy-Fieri-Cutting-11-Inch-14-Inch/dp/B009GG62X8/ref=pd_sim_k_5?ie=UTF8&refRID=0F2W4AG3R3J80G2NV162

NOT WORTH PURCHASING. SADLY DISAPPOINTED
I bought one of these at a local store and thought it was GREAT so I immediately purchased 3 more for family members. With in a month of my purchase it went to JUNK. It will not open cans easily, leaves sharp edges & slivers of metal. I had to throw away the can of food I was opening from the fear of getting some of the metal in the dish I was preparing. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER ONE AGAIN. Lesson learned. Just because it has the name of a famous cook doesn't mean it's worth buying.

Very disappointed!
The knife is good quality but the cutting board came apart after only using for less than a month! Very disappointed in the quality of the cutting board!

not great
Not very happy with this tenderizer as it's very heavy. The reviews said it was light but it is heavier than expected and therefore not that comfortable to hold and use.

Beats the heck out of meat
Great for tenderizing, however; I am conserned the aluminum handle might eventually fail. For, the price a steel handle was expected.

You Gotta Get This!!!
Okay folks; Everyone can use another high quality paring knife! This is a great knife on the cheap AND you get a nice cutting board to boot. If you buy a couple of these you'll always have a great house warming gift at hand. At $7.00 you just can't go wrong.

STAY AWAY- oh and Guy, you owe me money....
Truly a piece of $***... Had moved and misplaced our can opener, so I figured " Hmmm, Guy Fieri? He's a chef, he must make good stuff". Ha! The gears started going on me in about two weeks, and they were totally stripped within two months. I'm out 9.99, because who keeps a receipt on the purchase of a can opener? Do yourself a favor, and stick to a good old fashioned Swing-A-Way® brand can opener if you want something to last more than 8 weeks.

Shocked at the quality for this price
Just the cutting board was worth the price but with the knife included (and it's a really good knife) this is an incredible deal. Everyone can use an extra knife and I use a paring knife more than any other. The size of the cutting board is good for me. I live alone so I'm not cutting big amounts of anything.
