Great low cost alternative
Like many of you, I spend considerable time researching before I buy an item. I was torn between this adapter and the Canon one for my new Canon M6 camera, which was purchased for a trip of a lifetime. The reviews swayed me, and I put it through a bit of testing today.First, the lock-up between the adapter and camera is solid, and has no wobbling like purchasers of other brands reported. Solid and stable. Connecting several of my EF lenses, both Canon and Tamron, all yielded great quick auto-focus and stable lockup. I took several dozen pictures from varying distances, and all yielded very acceptable results. The lenses search a bit more connected to the adapter when using automatic focusing and the automatic camera setting than on my 5D Mark II, or using a native EF-M mounted lens on this camera, but I rarely use automatic anyway. Further, even though they searched, it was a quick focus when I kept the camera and lens stable. More than acceptable to catch a quick picture that simply can't be duplicated.I can't speak to the long term durability, but it has a solid build, and was well packaged unlike many off brand purchases I have made in the past. I have confidence in this. Enough that I'm flying half-way around the world and taking pictures in a place I'll likely never return to in my lifetime.Well done to the manufacturer, and I can solidly recommend this for your use. I paid full price, and would again.

EXCELLENT quality and value
This adapter is built like a tank and works perfectly on my Canon M50 with EF lenses. I've also tried it with an EF-S lens, and while it functions OK, the auto focus seems to constantly be searching for the right focal point. I tried it on several settings and turned off the continuous autofocus in the M50 body, but the lens still constantly tries to adjust focus. If I switch to manual focus, the works perfectly. Ironically, the best performance I've had is with my oldest lens -- an 75-300 mm EF lens that I originally purchased for an EOS Rebel SLR (film camera) about 25 years ago. I used it to shoot my daughter's soccer game, and it performed like a champ. So if you have a Canon mirrorless camera, here's my advice for rounding out your lens collection -- buy this adapter and then buy a bunch of older EF lenses. You'll be able to build quite a collection of gear for less than the price of one EF-M lens. HOWEVER, if you're planning to do video, the EF-M lenses with the STM motor are very nice. They're very lightweight, smooth as butter and nearly silent. The only drawback is that they're a little "plasticy" and don't feel as solidly built as this lens adapter.

Gotta work!
My old (1987) Canon EOS has wonderful lenses that I didn't want to give up. The adapter answered any questions I had about not being able to use them. Arrived quickly, fit very easily and well and was well priced. What else could I wish....

buy if you just transitioned to R series.
This thing is absolutely great! its light weight so no worries of putting extra weight on your camera. if you transitioned from Eos to R def a great product to buy so you won't break the bank on lenses. Pictures come out great, no distortion at all. Sometimes I forget it is on and take it off with the lens, its sleek and looks like it's apart of the lens.

Huge cost saver
After upgrading to the R6MarkII I was not looking forward to replacing/upgrading all my EF glass, but this little gem has so far performed flawlessly! AF works as expected, but I'll check back in if any issues arise. Otherwise, I see no reason to spend all that money on Canon's equivalent solve. Highly recommend.

cheap junk
Do not buy this cheap adapter. The fastener part broke after just a few uses, and the screw was almost instantly stripped. I'm out $50 for a useless, cheaply-made part. Look for another brand; this one is junk.
